One of her dads, Riley Wells, is the communications and media teacher, and this unfortunately doesn't make his job easy. Her other dad, Mason, is a sex therapist and is the one that has nicknamed her Hellcat. She decided to take that nickname and wear it like a patch on an MC jacket. Prior to junior year, she was simply an extremely attractive goth girl that minded her business and delved deep into the party scene. She was sexualized by the upperclassmen since Freshmen year, which would be the start of her growing anger for the school as a whole. She decided to be what everyone wanted her to be and that was a slut. If the school needed a sex symbol, she'd give them exactly that. Even with her rebellious behavior, she still cared about her studies, her health and her music. Truth be told she is passionate on quite a few social and political issues happening in the world today and has a lot to say about them but only talks about her opinions to people she trusts. Spring semester of Junior year is when her anger reached its tipping point and she stopped giving a fuck about everything. Her friend, Amy, was destroyed and she took that personally. From then on, she decided this school was a joke and that her peers who loved petty drama just wanted to see things burn. Fine, she'll do just that and show them what it feels like to have your wishes come true.

Thankfully, he was able to keep up with his studies due to two girls adopting him during Freshmen orientation. They are now his best friends: Katie Callaghan and Kimber Benson. People pitied him and he [i]hated[/i] that feeling. 

He thought it would stop there but then he went through a massive growth spurt sophomore year and his peers started looking at him [i]differently[/i]. That was the same year he decided to join the swimming team. Swimming was something he enjoyed most of his life. He needed to channel his emotions somewhere and the water was the first thing that came to mind. His mother loved the water; it was the reason he wanted to try it competitively prior to arriving at BHHS. Little did he know that he'd be the reason the swimming team qualified for regionals. That same year was also when his little sisters came in, Autumn & Summer, and they immediately found the spotlight, joining the cheer team and being popular princesses. That, of course, only made things worse. 

It wasn't until junior year that most of his class, besides his best friends who already knew, realized that he was AJ Tyler's cousin. His late mother being the sister of AJ's dad. AJ, as you know, was loud and proud, leading the charge of the Gearheads. The attention didn't last long because at the same time his classmates found their place in the hierarchy and were more focused on who was fucking who and what people were wearing. He would like to thank Katie's brother for redirecting everyone's attention to all the chaotic happenings at the school that had nothing to do with him. [i]Finally[/i] Niles was able to find some kind of peace and quiet. While he knew others still noticed him, seeing how they barely knew him and still waved at him in the halls, he wasn't the kid whose mom died. He wasn't the kid that knows how to work the water and was the only reason the swimming team didn't get cancelled. He wasn't the kid with the two cute little sisters that seniors loved to flirt with. He wasn't the kid that had potential to be an Elite. He wasn't the kid that was related to AJ-Fucking-Tyler. He was just Niles and he was okay with that.

His father works a lot, they likely had a small court marriage, and he kind of just been caught up with the constant chaos that surrounds the Callaghans. Katie likes to drag him and Kim around.
