Ash rubbed her face then said softly “I’m sorry Carth, I didn’t mean to bring you down too. I’m just so frustrated and I hate being a step behind…it’s like some dark shadow is hanging over me keeping me stuck…”

Scarlet nodded as Shinlo looked outside and saw the pair returning. “Ah there they are…oh is that Ashs fan?” Then he stopped dead and saw her fan as she turn around and he seemed to freeze seeing it. A memory hit him as he saw flames and dragon cries. He was running thru a battle field, a bundle in his arms as he heard a cry of a bird above him and a flash of black flames hitting silver and purple ones. 

Scarlet looked over and said “Shinlo? You with us?”
