He also didn't want to go back to another airport, he knew every time he was in one of those the government just learned his location all over again. As Jason waited to hear back from the girl he sat himself down in the main lobby of the resort he was staying at. No point in going back to his room, if his suspicion was correct she was here and they could meet already.

He was quite certain she was on the island, even though she didn't do anything that would obviously give that fact away. The main factor was that she suggested it as their meeting place. He was unsure how old she was but he knew it wasn't older than him, so even if she did have a job she didn't have nearly enough money to travel anywhere she wanted. Plus it is something he might have done, it's a lot more convenient to have people come to you than it is to go to them.
