A little thrill goes through my body when Nic gently guides me to move closer to him. I oblige him, knowing it is something I wanted right now. I wouldn’t give all of myself to him, not yet, not until I talked to him about my past and my family, but this I could do. This was fun. 

I pull back from the kiss just enough to move onto Nic’s lap properly. I rest my hands on his shoulders, pulling myself closer before I kiss Nic again. My hands slide up to rest on either side of his neck, my fingers interlocking at the back of his neck.
