Scarlet was against a tree when the others found her, still out of it. 

Ash looked up at Carth and tried to warn him but couldn’t move. The creature turned to Carth and the huge tail moved and smashed into him, sending him flying backwards. Ash jumped up and tried to help him but the creature wrapped the tail around her and she cursed, her arms pinned down and her ears exposed. “Carth! Run! Don’t let her get you! Her song…it’s too much…” she tried to fight the magic off but the creature kept going.
