Serena looked around then pulled him to a bench and sat him down. Then she took his hand again and said “I was in the courtyard. My rooms were being made up. I was treating my injury when you walked up behind me. It was dusk. You asked me if I was alright and I muttered yes. I wasn’t sure if you remembered me.
