Even though they’re very tempted to peek as Caden guides them, Nero keeps their eyes closed shut. When their senses seem to be almost overwhelmed, Caden lets them open their eyes. They knew there had to lots of light coming from somewhere, they aren’t fully prepared for everything that exists at once in Time Square. They spin in a slow circle, ignoring the voice in their head that said doing it is a total cliche, and stare in wonder at the sheer amount of life happening around them. [
