Kiki wakes up the next morning feeling [i]very[/i] warm, which confuses her since she had fallen asleep in a tank and shorts. When she opens her eyes, she’s greet by a bare chest and the ever-encompassing smell of Avery. She smiles to herself - they had cuddled and talked about nonsensical things after she had gotten out of the bath until they fell asleep.

Not really wanting to leave his arms, even if it did feel like she’s living within a furnace, Kiki wraps her arms around him and nuzzles into his chest with a happy sigh. The two of them had made great stride in their relationship yesterday and she wants to bask in that.

Nero wakes up lazily, not even really remembering falling asleep the night before, which is becoming a habit. At their feet lay some of the empty dishes from their dessert haul last night. They seemed to be in mostly the same spot they last remembered, with Caden sitting half up against the headboard and Nero nuzzled back against him. 

[color=#9B111E][i]“Das kann nicht sehr angenehm gewesen sein.”[/i][/color] Nero mumbles, twisting so their stomach was leaning against Caden, wanting to be able to look at him. They reach up and smooth his brow line - not that it’s furrowed or anything, but just because they want to see his expressive eyebrows come to life.

Nic thanks the employee at the boba shop and walks out with a couple of drink options for Cass as he texts her. 

[center][color=F7941D][i]Good morning, beautiful. Are you ready to be picked up or do you need more beauty sleep?[/i][/color][/center]

Depending on her answer, Nic would cook breakfast and bring her a hot plate of the bacon, eggs, and toast she ordered or he would mill about the apartment and surrounding area more. He’s glad there’s drink options close to him though, it’ll be convenient for his gremlin. Nic debates calling her as he walks into his apartment building, but decides against it. He doesn’t want to incur her wrath.
