Avery raised an eyebrow when Kimiko choked on her food.

[color=#B0C4DE]”Well, it tastes dry, plain, does it not? Adding syrup or even fruit to it would make a bit better I would think.”[/color]

While Kimiko talked, Avery found himself slowing in his eating. He sat back in his seat, wanting to extend the meal rather than finish it in a rush, if only to prolong the conversation with Kimiko. He hooked his foot around the leg of her chair and pulled her closer. 

He gave Kimiko a wry smirk before he laughed. [color=#B0C4DE]”Pancakes like biscuits? Why on earth?”[/color]

Cassiopeia beamed from Nic's approval of her smoothie and praise for breakfast.
