Aledeon and Trumeka sacrificed their leisure from paradise to close-guard Venast's people. With careful monitoring, the two servants assessed the proper genetics that would later categorize under four known dominant species: (Note: Mix breeds are fairly common) Humas: Argued to be one of Aledeon's first creations, being that she was part humanoid herself. Humas equally populate Venast as the Ranaths do. Ranaths: Trumeka purposely made this species to be nocturnal. More active and aware in the night, because they sleep during the day they normally have pale complexions. Delicate in the sun, their bodies are thickly covered in garments to keep from exposure of it's harmful rays. They retain similar physical features of the Humas, with slightly pointier ears and elongated faces. Orgs: Originally thought to be a wilderness creature, yet as time passed, the people of Venast accepted them into their societies. Known for their tough hides and square jaws, at times it is difficult to determine male from female. They have wide snouts with small flabby ears. A scholar had best profiled them as "pig swine heads with ogre bodies." Their hides are normally green, but there have been sightings of different colored Orgs around the world, some baring rougher hide textures than others. Cathians: Felines that are infant-sized Humas. It is a common joke, often bordering racism, that Cathians were made after Aledeon's pet back at Gnoll's Paradise. They are an intelligent race with the same body structure as a Humas though they do have a tendency of walking on all fours when they are provoked. ---- Classes: T.A.C. Investigator: They may not be experts in combat, but they more than make up for it in other ways. They are high ranking officials of the Arcane Coalition, trained specifically under the mystic arts. The academy goes through great lengths in training these officers, not just in magic, but also marksmanship, and all forms of paranormal, magical and criminal investigation techniques. They are considered ambassadors of the Coalition and are held with high regard by most. Though Goalathia and Deign officially do not recognize T.A.C. as an authoritative body, nobles with the right connections and coin to match, are still willing to hire them. Pro: Their magical abilities make them formidable. Con: They lack combat experience compared to the more war seasoned T.A.C. Soldier and often have to rely on them in a tight pinch. Weapons: Usually a staff or item that amplifies their abilities, though they are also known to carry firearms as back up. Class Specialty: Healer (Passive), Battle Mage (Aggressive), Summoner (Either) T.A.C. Soldier: Elite soldiers trained by the Arc Knights of Kadesa, their skill in military warfare and nearly all forms of combat are known throughout Venastia as the best. The recruits are usually transferred from Imygden and Kadesa's armies, but sell swords, along with any who wish to join are welcome - so long as they pass the trials. Their extreme training regiment makes them durable fighters in any situation. They are often seen as security for the Investigators, however, all T.A.C. soldiers are trained to be detectives as well. The confusion has sparked rivalries between the two classes. Pro: Warriors that can take on nearly all threats. Con: Aside from equipment and weapons that may be magically imbued, they possess no magical abilities trained by the Coalition. Weapons: melee and/or firearm Class Specialty: Warrior (Aggressor), Defender (Team Player), Hunter (Long Ranged), Alchemist (Healer - Through use of potions and concoctions) Sub-Class Specialties: Animal Tamers: Due to the strenuous academic and physical curriculum of a T.A.C. student, studies have shone that a bond with an animal companion has positive benefits for the psychological stability of post graduates. Therefore, most T.A.C. operatives have an animal companion in some shape or form that they can either ride and/or magically imbue for fusion. For example, Quillus Markeen has a blue skyflair bird. He has magically imbued it with a fusing spell that can allow Quillus to fuse with his bird and gain temporary flight. While he highly recommends it, he does say that his taste for earthworms and grubs has substantially increased, thus exponentially decreasing his luck with women. Poor Quillus! Gear Head: If an animal companion is not an ideal fit for you, the Engineering guild of the Coalition has prompted students to construct their own companions. This promotes ingenuity, creativity, and downright fun. For example, Motari Flunkem built a robot from scratch. With a special combination of gene copying and magic imbuing, a sage constructed an embryonic spirit and forged it into the robot, thus giving it life! Amazing, isn't it? Others have built gizmos like steam-powered mech frame suits that can let them lift 10 times their usual strength, or transform into hovering motorcycles and planes. ----
Name: Age: Race: (Among the races listed, you can come up with your own as well, but please include a separate paragraph that describes them so I can add them to the list of races) Class: (No hybrids.
