Jacholaus didn't say anything in return. He simply smiled to Val, before it turned into a grin. He gently took her hand from her side, grinning more before turning and walking with her hand in his up the elegantly paved path leading up to the large abode. He chose to save speaking until they were in the foyer of the house, to properly welcome her to the home. On his way up, he was greeted by some of the many maids who worked there. They all instantly noticed that he had a girl with him, and all simply smiled and carried on. As they neared the large doorway, one of the maids opened the doors simultaneously for him. Jacholaus waited until he was well within the threshold of the foyer before turning back to Val. He smiled, and stretched his arms, to gesture around him. "Welcome to my humble abode," he said, grinning. Though, it was anything but humble. The place was huge. The foyer alone was larger than some of the apartments that were offered to students. Jacholaus called it humble simply to mess with Val a little bit. "Well? What do you say I give you the grand tour?," he then asked, his smile never leaving his face.
