Evenin' friends. 

Seeing as how I completely forgot my login details from my account years prior, I figured it'd just be easier to start anew. So howdy there, you may call me Whiskey. And, as the title states, I'm looking for an angsty, soul-ripping, plot-driven romance, and an advanced 1x1 partner who is capable of emotional, descriptive posts. If that sounds like you, then read on!

1) I'm a married (with dogs) woman in my early thirties, but I enjoy playing characters both male and female, and have extensive experience writing both. In other words, I'm not picky.

2) I write both MxF and MxM. Just let me know which you prefer.

3) As stated above, I'm looking for partners who pride themselves on emotional, richly descriptive writing. That being said, I'm not expecting novel-length posts. An average of two plus paragraphs and perhaps a little longer (six, seven?) for the introduction is a-okay with me. But of course, longer is awesome [s](that’s what she said)[/s].

4) Due to the gratuitous mature content I include in my roleplays, you [b][i]must[/i][/b] be an adult to write with me. At [i]least[/i] 21, please - ideally older. I do not censor myself, and this includes profanity, violence, and smut. I will also only roleplay in PMs - no exceptions.

5) Life happens! As someone perpetually struggling with depression and anxiety, I understand if and when things get too overwhelming and writing is the last thing on your mind. All I ask is to be kept informed, and I will do the same for you.

6) I would rather not do faceclaims (I much prefer describing my characters in my intros), but will do them if my partner insists. In which case, I will only use real photographs or realistic art. But again, I'd juuust rather not.

7) If you choose to contact me (PMs please), please include a short writing sample of your choosing. One or two paragraphs will suffice. I'd just like to get a grasp of your style and see if we might make a good match. A writing sample of my own will be included below for your perusal.

Abel’s beat-up black Pontiac made a noise only an overworked mechanical monstrosity could, almost-bald tires grinding to a stark halt in the trash-strewn backlot behind the Spiral, Five Points’ least popular bar. Three nights without sleep and the Tupperware Killer had decided to grace Atlanta PD’s newest detective a matching hell of a third strike.

Police lights sparking down the roadway indicated the scene had already been sealed off, rain-soaked gravel crunching beneath time-worn black loafers as Abel lit a fresh cigarette, taking a deep and calculated inhale as he approached the all-too-familiar line of yellow tape. The thick cotton blend of his dress shirt felt all too hot, a bead of sweat rolling down his temple and stinging exhausted brown eyes.

“Detective Vandeven?” The uniformed officer at the cordon squinted.

Abel exhaled, slowly. “I just got in. Where’s Foley?”

“Throwing up in the back alley.”

“I’ll check on him later. Dr. Talon here yet?” Another inhale, another exhale. He stubbed the cigarette out underfoot – far too early, but work was calling. The officer shook his head no, and the flicker of a sideways glance was all Abel offered in return before proceeding to the mutilated corpse lying splayed not ten feet away from the line.[/color]

[hider=open]Regardless of how Muse A personally feels about it, the bloodthirst is always there. Nestled in their chest, lingering like a beast that perpetually has to be fed. When they encounter Muse B at dingy local bar one evening, that same beast shrieks for sustenance. And yet, Muse A cannot bring themselves to fulfill the demands of the monster within. Why? And why is Muse B in turn inexplicably drawn to this enigmatic, tortured being they’ve only known for a night?[/hider]

[hider=open]After a horrific drunk driving accident claims the lives of Muse A's family, the perpetrator's wealthy parents make sure the charges don't stick. Muse A - filled with an all-consuming need for vengeance - makes good on their plan to kidnap Muse B, the perpetrator's sibling, in exchange for a hefty reward... Or a confession. Too bad Muse B's parents don't value them as much as they thought.[/hider]
