The NS in it's entirety from the old thread:
The Grand Republic of Mandalore For our Home! For our Honor! For Mandalore! Government Type: The Grand Republic isn't so much a government, as an informal republic styled coalition of multiple clans with representation by every clan's Alor having an equal say in the affairs of the Grand Replubic. Though for the most part the Jedi Council has been integrated within the myriad clans, there still exists an organization specifically for the Jedi, and they are also given place within the impromptu council. Beyond this informal republic, the Mandalorian Clans conduct themselves about as independently as they always have done. Capital: Mandalore Mandalore has changed somewhat since the fall of the Empire, with Jedi influence on the society helping to improve the more rogue elements. Kyrimorut has risen from the simple clan holding for the Skirata clan to the largest established holding on the planet, and the center for the Grand Republic's impromptu government. Along with forming the center of the Mandalorian nation, Mandalore is also home to the new Jedi Temples where the force-sensitive members of the Mandalorian nation come to learn the ways of the Force. Holdings Mandalore Sector: The entirety of the Mandalore sector is under Grand Republic influence, with Mandalore itself being the capital of the sector. Of particular note are the worlds of Concord Dawn and Breshig. Concord Dawn has remained largely an Agri-World, with only the presence of a Jedi-Temple on the surface distinguishing it from the other Agri-Worlds of the sector. Breshig has been re-established as the major ship-building center for the Grand-Republic, with the Mandalorian Drive Yards maintaining several rings around the planet for the construction of the Grand Republic Navy's vessels. Concordia has become the new center for Kaminoan Cloning facilities since the rebellion of the Ninth Systems Army in the prelude of Order 66. Meerian (Sector) Belsmuth (Sector) Hettyc'araniik - The Burning Cordon(Demetras Sector) Werda'Ka'ra - The Shadow Sector(Ojoster Sector) Japrael Sector: Within the Onderon system its moon Dxun is of special note, in that it has been re-purposed to a training planet and cloning facility for the Mandalorian Clone-Troopers. Few centers of civilization exist on the world, as the Mandalorian and Kaminoan Clone-Masters feel that the savage environments of Dxun provide the perfect environment for training new clones in the arts of war, and survival on hostile worlds. The hyperspace routes between the Mandalore Sector and Japrael Sector are heavily patrolled by the Grand Army of the Mandalorian Republic, with very little traffic between them other than the military convoys.

Name: Mandalore the Paladin/Mand'alor Haar'kom'ryk'be'kyr'am Species: Human Age: Believed to be mid thirties Gender: Male Appearance: Mandalore the Paladin has never been seen without some form of armor or robe, with the Mask of Mandalore always worn. Mandalore's personal armor is that of a heavily modified Neo-Crusader armor utilizing solid Beskar as the plating and enhanced actuators to assist movement for more fluid close-combat capability. Affiliation: Grand Republic of Mandalore Occupation: Mandalore! Brief History: From the rise of the Grand Republic emerged one of the single most influential Mandalore to have led the people, Mandalore the Paladin. Emerging some years after the Jedi had arrived on Mandalore, the Paladin is believed to have been a warrior from one of the lesser clans who may have been trained by the Jedi. What is known is that when the former Mandalore began to express notions of petitioning to the CIS, the Paladin openly challenged him to right to rule. The following duel lasted for hours as the two combatants fought across the Vhef'yaim, neither side making any overt killing moves, for fear of allowing their opponent an opening. In a bold move, the Paladin left an opening that Mandalore couldn't ignore, and as he struck at the Paladin's exposed side, the Paladin brought his blade about in a vicious counter-attack that decapitated the Mandalore in mid-strike. Bleeding from his wound, the Paladin removed the mask from the former Mandalore and held it above his head so that all could see, firmly declaring himself the Mandalore. --- Name: The Cold Void Species: Humanoid, possibly a non-human Age: Unknown Gender: Unknown Appearance: The true face of the being known as The Cold Void has not been seen since the tragedy that caused their horrific injuries during the Clone Wars. Always swathed in heavy dark robes, The Cold Void is believed to be wearing a form of ornate Sith battle-armor recovered from a Sith Temple during the war. Affiliation: Grand Republic of Mandalore/Mandalorian Jedi Order Occupation: Jedi Master Brief History: The Fallen Jedi known as The Cold Void first surfaced after a particularly savage campaign within the Outer Rim territories, a campaign that has been lost in the records after the chaos of the Empire's fall. They had been tasked with investigating a possible Separatist base on a frozen-world called Korriz within the Stygian Caldera, an investigation which ended in catastrophic failure at the hands of previously unknown assailants native to the world. The landing of the ill-fated legion was at first met with only silence, the world seeming to be completely dead, but soon the Jedi-Knight had discovered the existence of a Sith Tomb under the surface. With the breaching of the Tomb, hundreds of ancient Krath War Droids reactivated and began a systematic slaughter of the Clone Troopers. The Jedi-Knight was at the center of the battle, desperately attempting to redirect the battle in favor of the Republic, but unable to counter the firepower and durable construction of the ancient droids. As the battle continued, the Jedi-Knight was forced to retreat with the ARC commandos, falling back to the Sith Tomb in an attempt to gain better ground. Within the labyrinthine complex The Jedi eventually became separated from the ARC Commandos, the halls echoing with the screams of their deaths, and the raw power of the dark side slowly corrupting the Jedi. Driven mad by the rampant energies of the force, the Jedi fell into an abyss that had been opened during the battle. Falling to a grim death at the bottom of the ruin, the Jedi reached out with the Force to try to arrest the fall, unwittingly letting the Dark Side fully into their being. The Force would not let them off easy, and the massive losses of the day had opened a wound within their being, the rush of the dark energies of the ancient tomb wreaking havoc on the Jedi's mind and body as they broke upon the stone floor of the deepest reaches of the tomb. When the Jedi awoke, they no longer wore the guise of the Jedi-Knight from before, but that of a Fallen Jedi, the dark-side energies altering them into a raw wound in the force. A seething hunger filled the Fallen Jedi, a desire to feed upon the life energy overwhelming all prior sensibilities. Scavenging the ancient battle armor of the long-dead Sith-Lord, the Fallen Jedi stumbled out into the frozen wastes of Korriz to find life to feed upon. For several years the Fallen Jedi sustained itself on the native creatures of the world, until it could finally draw upon enough strength to recollect its fragmented mind and escape the world on one of the forgotten transport vessels. Garbed in the robes of a Jedi, the fallen Jedi rejoined it's brethren within the Mandalorian nation as a Dark Jedi seeking asylum, calling itself The Cold Void. The Mandalorians accepted The Cold Void as an ally, whereas the Jedi Council were slow to trust, though over time the relations between the Jedi Order and those allied with The Cold Void have improved. Other: The Cold Void uses a rare form of Force powers, revolving around the manipulation of ambient temperatures to induce severe cold and project bolts of ice. This unique form of Force powers also has imbued The Cold Void with the ability to survive the hard vacuum of space without an enclosed suit. The use of other Force powers has been severely restricted because of The Cold Void's mastery in this field, with many abilities closed off to it. It is believed that The Cold Void is proficient in the use of the forgotten Dun Möch style of lightsaber combat, utilizing the unique Force powers along with great patience to slowly erode the opponent's will to fight, before striking them down. - Remembrance - Remembrance is a unique curved-hilt lightsaber that was constructed long ago by The Cold Void. The blade of Remembrance is of a dark violet in hue, the actual blade burning with a cold-heat.

"Here's why you can't exterminate us. We're not huddled in one place—we span the galaxy. We need no lords or leaders—so you can't destroy our command. We can live without technology—so we can fight with our bare hands. We have no species or bloodline—so we can rebuild our ranks with others who want to join us. We're more than just a people or an army. We're a culture. We're an idea. And you can't kill ideas—but we can certainly kill you." ―Mandalore the Destroyer The Mandalorian society is an ancient one that has been in existence for thousands of years in one form or another, only occasionally coming together for what they have taken to calling the Crusades. Spanning the entire galaxy, Mandalorians have served as mercenaries for countless organizations of varying repute, plying the only trade they know. Before the formation of the Grand Republic, the thought of the Mandalorians coalescing into an actual society was laughable at best, and the beginning of the end at worst. What with their instinctive individualism, the knack for survival in virtually any (breathable)environment, and their penchant for battle, a legitimate nation of Mandalorians is something rightful to be feared when left to its own devices. In truth, the Mandalorian Clans might not have come together as a cohesive government if not for the influence of the Jedi who fled Order 66, as well as the Systems Army that accompanied them. It was early in the Clone wars when some Jedi began to feel their grip on the future slipping, many telling of dark clouds obscuring the portents. As the war carried on, these dark clouds became more and more prominent, to the point that even their greatest could see beyond the close of the war. The Ninth Systems Army saw intense fighting throughout the wars, the Jedi at their head leading them into many battles that few would walk out of, but always being there for the Clones. So it was that as many other Clone-Troopers saw their Jedi-Masters as merely commanders, the Ninth Systems Army came to regard their Jedi as much more, many confiding with the Jedi on the things they had seen during the wars and the Jedi providing the moral support to keep the Ninth loyal and fighting. One of the more influential battles of the Clone Wars was that of Coruscant, and here was where the Ninth showed their support for the Jedi, by moving to secure the Jedi Temple, and helping them to copy the Archives into the archives of their command-ship, The Ataru Sentinel. With the Archives secured, and a full-copy of them within the command-ship, the Ninth moved to support other elements of the Grand Army of the Republic in holding the capital against separatist forces. When the battle concluded, the Jedi-Council were made aware of the actions of the Ninth, and how the Great Holocron itself was safely held in their care. After some debate, it was ruled that it was best for the Archives to have a back-up, and that the Ninth would act as its protectors until such a time as it was no longer necessary. With Coruscant behind them, the Ninth continued their efforts across the Republic to keep the separatists back, and defend the Republic. Through these battles the Jedi who accompanied them devoted themselves more and more to the Ninth, committing more and more to the front-lines, and often times leading the assaults themselves. When Order 66 came through the command-links, the Clone-Commanders were at odds, something that they knew was wrong. Unlike the other Clone-Commanders, those of the Ninth questioned the order, and brought it before the Jedi-Commanders among them to question what had happened. The Jedi were all at once appalled and confused by the revelation, and took quick actions to ensure the survival of the Ninth. With the Ninth having disobeyed direct orders from Palpatine, and the Jedi still alive, the Ninth Systems Army regrouped and fled to the only place safe from the reach of Palpatine, Mandalore. Initially, the Mandalorians were highly guarded, feeling that the Republic had dispatched a fleet to conquer them, a feeling that persisted until the Jedi of the Ninth spoke with the clan leaders about their plight. The masters talked at length with the clan leaders, talking with them of how the Republic had been betrayed, and that the Clone-Troopers had defied Palpatine in order to come to Mandalorian space. As they negotiated the beginnings of the Grand Republic of Mandalore, the Empire fell before it could even begin, with the assassination of Palpatine and Vader. With both the Empire and the Republic crumbling to ash before them, the Ninth swore allegiance to the Mand'alor and made ready to prove their loyalty. Realizing that their time was short, and that they needed to act quickly, the Ninth moved to secure their future. Dividing into two battlegroups, the Ninth executed an assault on Kuat Drive Yards to steal the blueprints from everything the GAR used during the war, and also moved to secure the Kaminoans. Kuat was still heavily defended, despite the tumult of the coup, and so losses were significant during the assault of the ring-facility, with several Legions completely lost. Their assault was successful, though, for they had recovered the data on everything the Republic had used during the Clone Wars, among countless other priceless prototypes. Kamino was a easier battle, though not without its own troubles. When they arrived at Kamino, they found rogue elements of the Empire ransacking it, the Kaminoans desperately holding their facilities with the help of a small force of Clone-Troopers. Taking the advantage, the Ninth stormed in from behind the Empire's lines, pinning them between the defenses of the Kaminoans, and their relentless assault. Out numbered, and with the vantage of the attacker gone, the Empire's forces were routed and destroyed utterly. After a short period of tense talks, the Kaminoans opened their facilities to the Ninth and the two groups worked to see what had been damaged, and what could be moved safely. Working quickly, the facilities were rigged to be destroyed, and the Kaminoans moved all equipment that could be saved to the Venators of the Ninth, along with the Clones still undergoing training. With the capability to create more Clone-Troopers secured, and the existing facilities sinking into the oceans of Kamino, the Ninth and the Kaminoans returned to Mandalorian Space to reunite with the rest of their number. With both resupply capabilities and cloning facilities secured, the Ninth moved to establish themselves among the Mandalorian society, with the Clone-Troopers securing their borders, and the Jedi working to establish the Mandalorian society as a functional government. It took several years, but as the society began to form and a new Mandalore arose from it to solidify the gains that the Ninth, the Jedi, and the Mandalorian people had been working towards. The first act of this new Mandalore was to establish the Grand Republic of Mandalore as a legitimate government, securing stable trade lanes between the planets of Mandalore Sector, as well as annexing the surrounding sectors and declaring his rule over them. The Mandalorians withdrew from their mercenary actions across the galaxy under the call of Mandalore, coming home to find that Mandalore had united them as more than just another Crusade. As Mandalore secured the future of the Grand Republic, the Jedi established a new Jedi-Temple on Mandalore as their headquarters, as well as several others scattered throughout Mandalorian space. With a new generation of Jedi already underway, the new order set about amending the laws of the Jedi in order to preserve their way, feeling that survival was the surest way to keep the Jedi Order more than simply an idea. Many of the restrictions that bound the former order were relaxed, allowing the Jedi to train in far more subjects, and become more active in the society they inhabited. While the Jedi dropped some of the more noble and restrictive tenets of their order, the Mandalorians began to gain some of those more noble traits, becoming a noble warrior-society, rather than the nomadic mercenaries they once were.

Foremost consisting of the Clone-Troopers and Jedi-Commanders, the military of the Grand Republic of Mandalore maintains nearly the same command structure as the former Grand Army of the Republic. A vast majority of the Clone-Troopers are equipped with the same equipment used throughout the Clone-Wars, though they have been supplemented with the addition of the ability to produce the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armor. The Navy of the GRM also follows suit with that of the GAR, as much of the equipment previously made by Kuat Drive-Yards has been replicated by the Mandalorian Drive-Yards. Specialist divisions and High-Command usually consist of True-Mandalorians, though the purpose-bred Clone-Commanders still hold many positions of authority within the Grand Army of the Mandalorian Republic. The most important positions the True-Mandalorians hold is that of the Training-Supervisors for the new generations of Clones that will form the bulk of the GRM infantry forces, and one day become full-fledged Mandalorians. Organization of the Grand Army of the Mandalorian Republic: Haar'beviin be'Mand'alor - "The Lance of Mandalore" The Grand Army - The full army's organization, under the command of Mandalore himself as well as the Jedi-Council. Bes'uliik Bes'bavar - The Basilisk War-Droid cavalry consisting of True-Mandalorians who have proven themselves in battle, only a handful of Mandalorians can claim this honor, and no Clone-Troopers have yet taken on a Bes'uliik. Bes'uliik Bes'kyr'Jetii - The Iron-Death Jedi, a select few Jedi who have embraced fully the Mandalorian ways of war. These individuals typically lead the Systems Armies, though it is not unknown for them to come together as a cohesive unit during Basilisk Assaults. All military technology utilized by the GRM is that of the Grand Army of the Republic, with the only deviations being that of Mandalorian technology. Phase I Clone-Trooper armor is in widespread use, as well as the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armor. MDY manufactures all of the starships of the GRM, as well as Basilisk War-Droids, and their subsidiaries manufacturing armor and weapons.
