Wow this ooc's moved quick :0 Yeah, generally with fight scenes imo the best way of treating them is common sense. I've not dabbled in Arena, but the way I think it mostly goes is people set up posts where they have their character move to attack, and then give the other person a chance to respond by dodging/getting hit etc. Which is all fine and good except I tend to see most people just have their characters dodge it cus ohnoes booboos. But, and I've not posted in Midnight yet so idk how you guys feel about it, I treat combat scenes more dynamically and akin to a show where injuries can be traded etc and it all boils down to common sense and how much you guys trust each other not to go overboard and like... break another character's head. I don't think having your characters injured should be something to be scared of since I don't think anyone's looking to inflict lasting damage. Also, what Fox said where trading small actions back and forth would just take forever... lol.
