Kai was fair moody now, but it was pretty often that questions like that would arise about him and his brother because of their ability to link. He didn’t see it as freaky that they could practically read each other’s thoughts until he was told it was a weird thing and definitely something every sibling did not have. It made him a little depressed when it was played out as a joke, but then again everybody loved to play that card and he just had to get used to it. Letting out a sigh as he folded his arms, he frowned a little, “I can get glum about things if there’s a reason to get glum about it”, he muttered, shaking his head. Of course he was bothered by it; he was close to losing his brother and he was busy having a joke about it. If Choi decided to go with Yumi, he wouldn’t be able to get close to his brother again unless during special times when he was allowed to go over and see him. He’d be missing a part of himself and that possibility upset him, “It’s not the fact that he has a girl that’s bothering me, it’s like…well, like I’m missing a part of me”, he sighed, shaking his head, “Sorry, I shouldn’t assume you’d understand. Can’t say it’s something everyone would understand, after all”. Giving Kabocha a quick look at the handsome comment, he shook his head slowly with disbelief, not exactly having any belief in that comment when servants of the King were often insulted for their terrible looks, plus it didn’t help when he was the exact same as Choi. Looking back up to Kabocha, he frowned at the girlfriend comment, “Hey! We’re very different! You’d get your own parents mixed up if they didn’t wear different clothes…” Choi wasn’t feeling too confident to give Yumi the news about why he wasn’t mentioning giving Viral the room, looking back a moment at the mention of him. He didn’t know whether he was still alive either, something that would greatly upset Yumi if the Beastman’s body did actually give up, “Uhhh, I don’t know what’s going on with Viral right now, but the guy doesn’t seem like the type to take the best room just because it was open to him”, he spoke, smiling a little, “I think he wanted to use the machines in the ship anyway”. Smiling a little as he closed the door after him, he stared at Yumi nervously just wondering what she was going to ask him. He was pretty worried that it’d be something she found out about him that was pretty embarrassing, even though he couldn’t think of anything that possibly was. Staring at her intently, he smiled nervously before he looked away, rubbing the back of his neck as his cheeks went red. He was pretty happy right now, showing he was just a little bashful over what she was saying, “Oh, yeah…they’re pretty similar, huh?” he spoke, chuckling a little before he looked back at her, his heart jumping a bit at the next thing she said. He didn’t know how to react to that, it was definitely a first for him and immediately he felt panic build up in him. If he screwed this up by saying the wrong thing then that was it for this opportunity, his feet nervously shifting as he fought for the right words to say, “M-More?? Woah! Ooh uhh, yeah! Sure! I-I mean uhh, yeah…yeah, it would be really nice…” He had never experienced something like this before, it had all happened so quick and even if it didn’t work out in the end he’d be pretty focused on keeping her happy no matter what. In fact, he didn’t know what would happen in the future, but this was definitely something he had to make feel worthwhile, “Even if we got off to a bad start…I think that was more misunderstandings than anything; I mean…being enslaved all your life, it would make you almost a mirror of your master until you see through it, right? I shouldn’t had taken up that role in the first place, anyway…I’m sorry about what happened”. T’charrl felt a little bad that he couldn’t guide Shu around the ship using the plates on the wall, his problem coming directly from the fact that he couldn’t read their language. It should had been something he learned when he was growing up after first learning about the aliens from beyond and recently when some came to their planet before the energy of their planet told them to back off. Giving a little nervous smile when Shu looked up to him, he let out a sigh and looked away, rubbing the fur of his neck slowly. While he could do with a rest, the thought of going off for a sleep while Shu’s energy levels still seemed high meant the kid would be left on his own. Shu tilted his head a little when the response seemed a little delayed, not feeling too sure whether he was using the scouter correctly. When Takeshi suddenly spoke on the other side he got pretty excited, bouncing on his feet and looking up to T’Charrl who leaned in to try and listen to it, “Everyone else left to go to rooms but we’re not tired and don’t know what rooms to take”, he spoke quickly, giving his stomach a quick scratch, “We can’t read the writing either, so…umm…” When Takeshi responded yet again, he listened intently and gave a quick look behind, his eyes going to T’charrl who was right down listening into it. Getting all excited again he bounced on his feet a little, only to be picked up by T’charrl to stop him from his momentary vibrating, “Okay! We’ll find it! We’ll be there quickly!” he spoke quickly, taking his finger off the button and holding onto T’charrl instead, “We get to go see Takeshi! Friend T’charrl, let’s go yes?” T’charrl nodded, hearing the directions on the other side. If he had a method to wear those scouters he’d probably do well when it came to trying to understand another alien; maybe he could have one made for him, after all he did sort of have ears underneath his fur even if they were a lot smaller and less fleshier than their ears. Turning around, he began to walk on back the way they came, letting out a sigh and shaking his wings a little, “I really wonder how easy it will be to learn your language…”
