Katherin heard a lot of commotion inside. Sounded like her new family was up to something. Part of her was curious and wanted to be included, but part of her was afraid to be rejected. Just because they allowed her to stay didn't mean they wanted to include her in their activities. Of course the alternative was to sit outside all day. Katherin bite her lip as she stared at the door trying to decide how brave she wanted to be.
