Personality: A bit on the quiet side, Eric is more calm and tactical compared to most trainers who tend to be rash or brazen. He always tries to go for the most efficient plan of attack in battles. Outside of battle, though, he doesn't talk much and generally gives the impression of a shy type, which he sort of is.

History: Originally from Phenac City, Eric spent most of his free time watching Colosseum Battles and learning some of his first strategies from those observations. When he met his partner, Froakie, Eric made it his goal to enter to conquer all the Colosseum Battles in Orre, including Mount Battle. He hopes to eventually challenge Michael, viewing the Professor as the definitive Trainer to measure himself against.

Summary: Eric met Froakie in the Oasis Pokespot, rescuing him from a small group of attacking Ratatta. The two became fast friends and have been partners ever since. Froakie has unyielding loyalty to Eric, always willing to take an attack directed at him and refusing to be separated from him. This likely came from the nature of how they met, Froakie having feelings of a life debt to his trainer for having saved his life in the Pokespot.[/hider]
