The Institute does have classes like a normal school, so you'd need to change all that.
I'll accept the statement and adjust accordingly, though I don't see how this is possible. I find it hard to believe since there are only about twenty bedrooms. It's a mansion, not a dormitory. That and with only a half dozen instructors, they couldn't possibly cover every subject a university would include or provide enough classes for several hundred students, let alone finding rooms large enough to house the desks. They have... maybe three such rooms?
Drop the level of TK strength to around one ton and limit his flying speed and he'd be ok. But being a Canadian criminal and sporting a cape and a buster sword has got to go. Bastion by itself works as an alias, IDK who would dub him the Last Bastion of Virtue cause if he did it himself he sounds pretentious. ~KL~
He dubbed himself, like Shadowcat called herself Ariel and then Sprite, before settling on the much more apt Shadowcat. Generally, Bastion, (Since most people are likely to refuse calling him by the full name he chose) is pretentious by nature. For example, he would arrive upon a scene, strike a pose and holler, "Hail Citizens! Please stand back! The X-Men have arrived and will contain these dastardly villains in the name of peace and love amongst all mankind!" I rather imagine his companions would likely cringe and cover their eyes at such moments. The Buster Sword is a tool and a prop, mostly to help match him up against the reach of other bricks who, standing often twice as tall as him, half arms twice his length. We can do without. I also forgot to include Sebastian's "glow" when using his powers under weaknesses. This limits his ability to be stealthy or to use his abilities in a crowd without being identified. His powers are not subtle by any means.
Using multiple ID's would be superfluous as well since if it was the X-Men who rescued him from a Canadian dungeon they'd likely set him up one. It's cool if some shadowy Canadian government agency wants him dead to make him need to go into hiding with a new ID in the U.S. The powers as they are seem like too much [wall crawling AND flight, really?]. I don't need an amalgam of Wolverine's backstory with Jean Grey level 5 mutant TK. If tweaks like I mentioned could be made I wouldn't mind having somebody with TK, but it needs toned down a bit.
TK? I'm confused by several of the statements in the power section. Sebastian is a paragon/brick. I don't know why you're referencing Wolverine and Jean Grey. He has far more in common with Colossus, Hulk and Thor. (Though obviously without the lightning on that last) To use this telekinesis Sebastian must be in contact with the substance. He couldn't lift a glass of water a meter away from him if he was dying of thirst. According to some friends I've talked to, he has a lot in common with Superboy of DC Comics who also has no superhuman strength of his own and does so via tactile telekinesis. So effectively, with a one ton strength, we're talking about a brick that can get his arse handed to him by Moon Knight. That's rather humorous. The "wallcrawling" and "flight" complaint? Any character that can hover in place effectively is a wall crawler. I decided to mention it because he likes to fly in that manner a fair bit. Flyers can easily float up against the ceiling and walk up the sides of buildings. You see a prime example of this in the first Superman movie where Kal-El apprehends a burglar climbing a skyscraper and yet... Superman technically doesn't have the wall crawling power.
