Being experimented on by those scientists while you thought you lived in a small town in upstate New York called Walson and was a high school student. Only after seeing the cracks in the dream world and with some help. You and the students managed to break free from the dream world and wake up. Only when you finally awake in a hospital bed with various devices strapped to your body and monitoring you. You realize the scientists who were experimenting on you were dead, and their bodies were still fresh. Something killed them before you woke up and, for some reason, left you and other experimentees alive. But two things are clear after waking up. You have powers, the same ones you had in the dream world and the one that created the dream world and maintained it. Megan was like you but chose to work with the scientists and keep you and the others asleep for a deal she had made with them. She is dead, her body unable to bear the trauma of the dream world failing and waking up, and without the drugs the scientists supplied her to make her powers stronger and keep you in the dream world. You do not know how you got these powers, and it seems like the scientists did not know either. But the second thing you know after waking up is the more troubling one. It is that you and the others do not remember anything after you were sixteen. After that, you cannot seem to remember anything, and you discover that four and a half years have passed. The world you remember is not the one you are in right now. For what you and the others can gather from the remains of the hospital you were being experimented on in. Something horrible happened to the world, and somehow, your powers are related to it. Now, with no clue on what to do and with many questions. You and the others convene to figure out what to do next, but after, one of them discovers a possible lead. Two locations labeled Alpha and Gamma on a map that the scientists had. Two places that seemed vital to their research and with no other options. It is decided to go to the Alpha Site and see what they can find. Maybe a clue to how they got their powers and getting back their lost memories. Either way, with what supplies and weapons they could find, they would go out to find the truth of what caused the apparent end of the world and recover their lost memories. [center]Rules: 1. Minimum of one paragraph[/center] [center][b]Overview[/b][/center] Hello and welcome to the rp, so this rp is a sequel to a rp I tried doing a while ago but it failed to launch. But since I had already had a plan for the sequel of the rp. I figured that I could run the sequel and just explain in a summary of what happened in the first rp. Basically, the player characters thought they were in a small town called Walson in upstate New York and were in their last years at Walson High School. Only the characters started noticing strange things happening around Walson, with the townsfolk ignoring it, and things get worse and worse, and the characters realize that they have powers. The characters started working together to find out what was happening to the town, and events would culminate in a final battle as the town's secret was revealed. A high schooler named Megan was behind the secret. This is not real, and the characters are actually trapped in a dream world that she created and were being experimented on while they slept and after the final battle with her. The player characters wake up in a hospital bed with various medical devices hooked up to their bodies. Soon, finding each other and the bodies of the dead scientists who were experimenting on them, along with a dead Megan. They took the steps to figure out what had happened to the world and venture out into the world. So that is the summary of the plot of the first RP, and this rp would start as they approach the Alpha Site. So you have free reign on what your power is as long as it is not either mind control powers or time powers. Just describe it and keep it reasonable. Plus, there will be a power that all of the characters will get, but that will happen in time when I saw when and what it is. But in regard to the lost memories and the background for the app. I will have moments when the players will collectively remember their lost memories or let an individual remember some of their lost memories. Either way, you are allowed to write the background for your app up to a certain point. Mainly, the backgrounds should stop when they are sixteen, and nothing past that. They have no memory of the apocalypse nor how they ended up at the hospital. That will be revealed as the rp processes. Plus, as for what your characters can start out with for equipment wise. Basically, what stuff could you find in a hospital with power and being well supplied along with what supplies you can find in a survival situation or in a post aqoc setting. But there should only be a few guns at the hospital, so not everyone can have one. Just as long as it can be reasonable, you can have it and it is possible to not be carrying anything if you desire.
