A conflict that involved most of the known world of Autia. A war that all of the Dominants took part in. Humans who can transform into Eikons, powerful beings, and use their power at will. While their efforts did help to end the war. It showed how destructive and powerful Dominants can be in the modern age. Laying waste to a battlefield and being superior to what humanity could produce. A fact that has not been forgotten in the present day by the survivors of the war. But, as the world moved on and rebuilt what was destroyed. Something else stirred in the aftermath of the Great War. Something long forgotten has been unleashed and has been plotting its next move. While the Dominants and most of the world do not know. This unknown, a Dominant of an unknown Eikon has plans for Autia and humanity and if she succeeds. Then it will usher in a new age for Autia and humanity. An age that will serve the downfall of humanity. Which this all begins with an incident at the beginning of a major festival that all Dominants would be attending. Starting a chain of events that will either save humanity or damn it. So in this rp, you will be playing as Dominants who will be attending a major festival in the city of Nosk. There will be an attack and set in motion events where the Dominants will have to act. So this rp while in a custom setting, it does have aspects of Final Fantasy. Especially Final Fantasy 16, and unlike that game. This rp will be set in the modern-day version of Autia. Now, while there is a selection of Eikons/Dominants to choose from, twelve to be precise. If I somehow get more people than Eikons/Dominants, or if someone does not want to do any of the current Eikons. Then I will make more, or maybe let that person make a custom Eikon, if I allow it, and if the Eikon fits with what I have. Which when it comes to making a Dominant, you can have a male Dominant with a female Eikon and vice versa. So you are not locked to a certain gender when selecting your Eikon. And how a person becomes a Dominant is that after a Dominant dies. A new one is born with the power of an Eikon, and an Eikon has some will that can either protect, help, or hinder a Dominant. Even speak to a Dominant if they wish, though only for a few words or phrases. Depending on what is happening around the Dominant and what the Dominant is doing. Though normally this happens during a stressful or sudden moment and is considered a somewhat rare occurrence. The Varin Coalition and Inaan Accord after years of tense relations and standoffs. War was finally declared after a failed assassination attempt on a Coalition leader, and it was revealed that the Accord-related organization was behind it. Sparking a six-year-long war that dragged most of the nations of Autia into it. Only a few nations did not take part in the war, and even the Dominants of the time fought. Either on the side of the Coalition or the Accord. In the end, the Coalition would win the war with the help of its Dominants. The war was destructive, and it took time for the world to rebuild from it. Shaping the world into its current state, and peace has followed since. There are other religions out there in the world. Like the hero worshipping Alhanians and a small ancient religion that worships a being known as Terra or the Maiden. But most worship the Eikons since they are the closest one can get to something divine and be physical. Temples to them are scattered throughout Autia. Though the size of an Eikon's following is dependent on the Eikon. Since Gaia, the Eikon of Life, has a bigger following than say Valefor, the Eikon of Metal. It is possible for a Dominant to semi-prime and gain some aspects of their Eikon and use some of the Eikon's power. Ifrit's ultimate ability is Inferno which Ifrit sends out a massive blast of fire that engulfs an area in fire. The fire lasts for a short time, or if the attack is cancelled.
