I have an idea to play members of two feuding families: a magic-studying family that worships the goddess and tries to awaken her, and an atheist family of non-magic people that just wants to end the queen's reign of tyranny even by killing the goddess. My plan is to alternate between the two families sending volunteers in an effort to achieve their goal before the other one, alternating as each one has someone die. The magic family members would have one level one-powered spell each as per the rules. Is the spell list limited to D&D 5th Ed, or are other low-power spells allowed? The atheist family would have pistols and bolt-action rifles. Could they also have additional weapons, like gardening shears or a pickaxe? Also, what is the preferred post length? It's a Casual RP, but the high mortality rate and jump-in feature seems to suggest a more Free-Casual leaning post expectation. Edit: could I strap a blind old man to a rocket wheelchair stuffed with mining TNT and have him blow up the first obstacle, such as the gate or wall? Great Grandpa Lalli will rouse his clan to action by showing how to do it even as a nearly dead cripple.
