True, one could wonder out onto the streets to see beautiful lights in the skies as well as on the ground, yet they would be no doubt devoured by Miseria. Or perhaps one of the dark demons who walked the streets with a paper seal on their forehead, the gauntlets eclipsing their hands almost eclipsing their torso. For the High Priestess made her appearance once again. She looked upon the domain of the Detention Club with a distant gaze, sweeping over the buildings one by one. Her partner had yet to make her appearance beside her, probably too occupied by the new magical girl she talked about. "I'm going to wring that girl's neck," spoke Hotaru as Shatterscape made her way through the streets at a leisurely pace by her standards. "She's only trouble! We need to kick her ass seven ways to Sunday!" Her knuckles whitened in Shuuko's mindscape as she closed her fingers into a fist, then smashed her hands into each other with a loud, metallic clang. "'Ru, I'm not going to tell you what to do, but please at least give that girl a chance to prove herself." "The fuck I will! Look what happened last time we wanted to make peace with those assholes. Sylvia's still not okay. "Ummm... No, I'm all right. I will be all right. You shouldn't be so angry just because of me, Hotaru." The warrior let out a loud sigh at the protector's insistence, yet before they could refute the obvious lie along with the self-deprecation, the air shifted around them. It became thick with malice, almost dripping in evil as Miseria finally showed up from between the cracks, emerging into reality from the darkness within people's hearts. Or at least such was one of the many hypotheses that no one could prove. Either way, they were scattered and not worthy of the time of most girls. Shatterscape, however, was not most girls. Adopting the mien of the high priestess, Shatterscape swiped at the nearest Miseria, turning it into nothing more than a splatter. Her gauntlet passed through the creature as though it had not even been there, blunt force doing most of the work instead of the deadly blades she possessed on her finger. Indeed, the next second, she rushed forward to tackle another one of the 'threats', reducing it into atoms in much the same way as before while she scanned the skies overhead for Mogalls. Though those creatures could not talk either, they would lead her towards Kiyo, who then could point her into directions where she could be the most effective at cleaning up the trash so to speak. She cared little that she did not meet Rei either, for the Detention Club's leader would show up inevitably. However, as she walked her path of casual violence, two things became apparent. One, Kiyo probably did not pay attention to her at the moment, so Shatterscape would be less effective in her duties. Two, the light magical girl the others accepted into Hibusa Town tried to gather all of the Miseria into one place with what would likely turn into a flashy act of self-sacrifice. Even a light girl could only handle so many creatures of the darkness and with the scope of the pillar she created... Hotaru let out a self-satisfied grin inside Shatterscape before the warrior went back to her duties. After all, Miseria focused on bright magical displays were so much easier to handle than the ones who anticipated the attack. So she would feast on the groups she could catch, but stay clear of the light girl at the insistence of Ember.
