13th Floor of the Woodlands Gideon passed the next half hour by reading through a couple of the letters from his mailbox as the Wicked Witch worked. Traditionally, Fairies could be very petty about what they complained to him about. Being some of the smallest Fables around for the most part, their problems were much different from most Fables. For them, a brick falling out a building could be a whole wall of their house destroyed or a hobo lighting a trash can for warmth could destroy their "property", and these were issues which weren't necessarily worth the attention of the Fabletown Government. This didn't mean that they should just be thrown out though, scorned Fairies could cause just as many problems as the ridiculousness of solving the issues of their problems directly would cause, it just meant Gideon had to be very creative at times in how he placated his constituents while not wasting time, money, or human resources. Several of these letters appeared to be more serious complaints though, relating to the recent incidents linked to this new drug people were calling "Fairy Dust". Half a dozen letters alone were to have Gideon petition a ban on the phrase, as the writers felt that it was violating, or simply dangerous to have the drug be associated with them. Gideon understood the fear, if people somehow implicated Fairies in general of being behind the new drug, it could lead to potentially bloody vendettas, especially if this drug took off with more serious side effects besides comas. The biggest problem Gideon had with dealing with this problem was that he knew next to nothing about the drug itself, or where it was reportedly being found, other than the fact that working girls had been caught comatose from it. He decided to head back downstairs and talk to Cole, or anyone else down there about it once his Glamour was fixed.
