Posting interest. I always have a good time with action and fantasy writing. The reversion genre hasn’t been a huge point of interest for me in the past, but the themes of important memories and second chances seems really promising. 

I like magic, but don’t need it to get interested. I’m just weighing some options. Perhaps a bumbling sorcerer’s apprentice in the first life, or a failed military commander? I also like the idea of a big personal tragedy that they’ll try to avert this time, like loss of a partner or friend. I mean, of course everyone died in the end; this would have been a smaller, earlier incident that scarred the character’s psyche.
