Blind in a New Fight
Wield your fists, or take up timber. That was the advice? Fists or wood? Confusion was on his mind and face as then he looked at his swords. His weapons were either and despite the swords being the only weapons he has. They are apparently useless in this fight, and he needs to either find some wood or fight with his fists. Quite the problem, and as his gaze turned back to the sky, did he see their foe. A giant monstrous bird that, despite its size and charge at the protective barrier. The barrier held to his relief and seemed to hurt the beast in the process. Still, it was a threat but at least the barrier is still standing. He tried to ignore the odd smell that came with the beast the best he could. He could not describe how it felt, but he it did not affect him too much. What is this beast? He thought to himself as he stared at the creature. Regardless, his swords are useless in this fight, and it looks like he has to fight with his hands and a conveniently placed piece of wood. He looked around in a rush fashion but could not see any pieces of wood that would do him good. So, with a sign and deep breath, which he would regret given the smell and cough some. He put his swords away and bore his fists. He does not know if he will survive this fight with only his hands as weapons, but if that is his only option. Then so be it. Thus, staring with determination at the bird and raising his fists in a ready stance. He waited to see what the others would do and waited for the right time to strike. If he is going to fight with fists, then he better make sure that his strikes count.
