I'm just dropping this here.

He looks like this in build, but some features are a bit different. He has blue eyes instead of gold and purple eyes. His outfit is different to fit the time period, but it's the same color palette.

"I'm done making promises."

Eryx Noctar Kaides
Age: 17 [27] | Height: 6' 0" | Voice: Tenor
First Life
Eryx had always been invisible. He had too many siblings to be acknowledged. Any normal child would have felt lonely, isolated, and depressed, but Eryx wasn't normal. He exploited it, using the fact that nobody acknowledged him to slack off and put low effort into everything. He grew lazy, and by the time he entered the Collegem Yllustre, it was too late to change. He chose to wield a spear, but not because it was an effective weapon. It was less dangerous to use than a sword, and far easier to use than a bow. He wields the lightest spears he can find, since it's easy to wield things with low weight. He learned magic for his own self defense. Foolishness. He got out of the Collegem at 21, never awakening an Aura. He didn't need it. As war broke out, he fought as a footsoldier. He didn't need recognition as a knight. He made plenty of friends on the front lines, and watched as they all fell one by one. Each one left him a mission, and he accepted all of them. He promised to fulfill their wish. Promises are made to be broken. As the years moved on, Eryx became more and more determined. He would fulfill all of his comrade's wishes. He would make good on all of those promises. He would do one thing in his lifetime that was worth mentioning. He made more friends, he watched more die. He began to question why he was surviving. He wasn't super skilled, and he didn't have as much motivation as others. He narrowed it down to his magic. If he could use his Shield Spell to protect his friends, maybe things could change. False hope. On the day of his final battle, he cursed himself. He failed. All the promises he made, all of them were broken. He was a failure in every aspect of the word. He fought with more effort than he put into anything, all his self hatred fueling him. Ultimately, he died trying to protect another. He'd rather take death than make another promise to a fallen comrade. Regret.

Biggest failure: Allowing his comrades to die, when he could've saved them if he just trained harder.
Biggest regret: Living his life by following the wishes of those around him, instead of following his own ideals.
Biggest obstacle: His lack of motivation.
Greatest achievement: Every battle where he survived was an achievement. Even if his comrades died, he was alive. And that was a triumph in its own right. He didn't view it that way though.
Driving hope: Fulfilling the wishes of his dead comrades.
