The Magus and Reavers of Eon

“Never forget that you are of the Tower. Remember your training, and you just might make it out alive.” Arteus Navarre Irvin The Magus Headmaster and Chief of Staff of the Eon Tower. A handsome man in his prime, he is the youngest member of the organization to obtain the rank of Grandmaster in several generations. In his younger days, he earned fame as a Reaver by racking up countless accolades and was often given express permission to act as a lone Reaver. Truthfully, he was seen by some as a ruthless and callous sorcerer, and crushed any foe that stood in his way without remorse. His infamy had earned him the moniker “Void Serpent.” He eventually decided that he grew tired of taking orders under the jurisdiction of the Association, and he decided to use the influence and resources he had accumulated in order to establish his own sect. He, along with some trusted colleagues and people of special expertise, founded what is now known as the Eon Tower. He envisioned it as a private sector in the Association that can act on it's own in various cases and not have to bother with the frustrating bureaucracy of the higher ups. Although, this has made the Holy Church keep an even closer eye on them, must to Arteus's chagrin... Still, he presents himself as being a poised and cordial man who is polite and professional to everyone he meets. He is entrusted with the most skilled Magus under his leadership, and competition to join his unit is the fiercest in the Tower. However, even seasoned mages who are accepted under his wing often complain that he is something of a taskmaster. Often setting unreasonable goals for his squads and sending them out on what could be best described as suicide missions. It doesn’t help that the high council of the Magus Association is silently up in arms about giving what amounts to an upstart humbug such a high ranking position and responsibilities. Still, even they can’t deny that his methods have produced results that have contributed largely to the organization’s sterling reputation, in addition to producing a generation of expert Reavers. Arteus has shown proficient mastery in all forms of magic known to the tower, favoring Elementalism, Galdr, and Void magic. There are some peculiar rumors that he’s mastered some forbidden spells, but this has not been confirmed. CV: J. She is a young lady with striking features, which usually lie hidden beneath her aloof and shady exterior. Her long, somewhat messy black hair stretches past her shoulders, with bangs that often hide her left eye. She wears traditional female magus robes, albeit slightly more modern and personalized to her specific tastes. She usually has a very taciturn expression on her face, but can show intense emotion in certain circumstances. Race: Human Sex: Female Age: 23 Magic Divination: Elementalism (Arch-level Fire, Water, and Wind magic) and Galdr (Beast Summoning) Abilities: Roze possesses the ability to manipulate the elements of Fire, Water, and Wind. All of which she wields to deadly effect, having a talent for them at a young age. In addition, she developed a strong connection to animal spirits, three Greater Ones in fact. Animals that each represent one of her elements, increasing her combat capabilities and bond with nature. Caienne - a werebat-like creature with vermillion fur and wings ablaze. The creature can conjure flames in various ways, from concentrated rays to literal streams of combustion that render all in its path to cinders.

Devion - A sinister and translucent shark creature that can call forth can control mighty oceanic currents

Icarus - This summon takes the form of a large and beautiful pheasant-like avian with a brilliant emerald down. With its magnificent wingspan, it is able to command gales mighty enough to shred and decimate anything caught in their wake.

Triad Witchcraft: Beast Possession - Roze is considered something of a prodigy in the field of invocation and evocation, possessing an awareness of nature spirits and being able to commingle with them even at a young age. Traits that are more commonly seen in Belua and Fae. This talent, nurtured through experience, has allowed her to bond with her summons strong enough to be possessed by them. This invocation achieves a type of, “fusion”, where Roze physically takes on their bestial qualities and increase her physical and magical attributes.
Beast Possession - Zinnober Chiropteran: Roze allows Caienne to possess her body, causing her form to shapeshift into a more clandestine werebat being. She possesses all of Caienne’s attributes of flight and agility, along with fangs and claws to rend flesh. In addition, Roze still can cast fire magic, and its power has been amplified and can be channeled more rapidly. As a caveat, she is locked into just this one element while in this form. Also, a bit of the bat’s personality overtakes Roze, causing her to act much the same - careful, reclusive, and calculating. Having only fur to act as a shield for her body, Roze has no real option for defending save for evasion and walls of flame. Beast Possession - Tiefblau Siren: Roze allows Devion to take her over, transforming her into a mermaid-like creature that possess menace as well as allure. Her increased potency with water magic allows her to drench the field in waves and frost, and create illusions using reflections. As the name suggests, Roze can also use her voice to induce delirium and charm in foes not resistant to it. In this form, Roze becomes a bit more rapacious, proud, and ill-tempered thanks to Devion’s nature shining through. She, of course, can only use the element of water. Her strong body and tough scales offer a solid defense against blunt force and slashing strikes. Beast Possession - Viridian Raubvogel: Icarus possesses Roze in this transformation, turning her into something akin to a harpy. Large wings adorn her arms, and sharp golden talons line her feet. Being able to move freely in the air and control powerful squalls, one could say that Roze becomes one with the wind while in this form. It should be stated that while in this form, Roze is notably the most talkative she’s seen as. Having the personality of a chatty and haughty pheasant, with all the vanity to boot. As with the others, Roze is locked to using wind magic while in this form. Much like with Caienne, Roze isn’t afforded much in terms of defense while merged with Icarus.
Arch Witchcraft: Triad Evocation - The pinnacle of Levina’s beast soul manipulation. By channeling a great deal of her mana, she takes the spirits of Caienne, Devion, and Icarus and blends their essences together, creating a single entity from their energies. Caligo

A large, monstrous creature with a pair of wing-like appendages extending out of its lower body, with parts of it lined with dark, silver, bony armor. A perfect hunter, the creature boasts superior speed, power, and durability compared to the separate beasts that made it. It also has access to all of their elemental abilities, in addition to a hazy substance that it can spread around its vicinity. The haze has an acidic property that can melt anything it touches. Being made up of three predatory animals, the chimera’s temperament is nearly unmanageable, and even Roze has trouble controlling it often. Which is why she would rather not perform possession magic with it, if at all possible. Arch Witchcraft: Triad Invocation: Silber Chimäre - This brand of Beast Possession is something Roze uses only in dire circumstances. Already using a large amount of mana and concentration to maintain and direct Caligo, Roze must dedicate all of her willpower to will the chimera’s essence to meld with her own, and thus perform the final beast possession.

In this form, Roze takes all of the spellcasting and physical capabilities of Caligo, but unfortunately she also takes on all of its predatory fury. Highly unstable, if Roze cannot maintain proper focus, she runs the danger of going to a “feral” state where she can’t differentiate friend from foe. Worse for herself, Caligo’s will may win out to where its the one in control… Equipment:

Roze wields her sorcery using a powerful magictech staff named Gungnir. It has a large catalyst crystal in the top of the scepter that changes color depending on the summon she evokes. Other than that, she’s the type to travel lightly and simply carries small provisions and a couple of combat knives standard for traveling mages. Brief Background: An archwitch and veteran reaver to the Tower, Rozemyne is a powerful elementalist and beast spiritualist born in a small residential district in the Republic. She commands high proficiency in manipulating the elements of Fire, Water, and Wind. In addition, she can summon familiars using evocation in order to further augment her spells. From a young age, Roze had set herself apart from her peers and demonstrated a talent for manipulating spiritual forces, being able to hear the echoes of animal souls and them having an affinity for her, traits more often seen in Belua and Fae Folk. Graduating with high marks and quickly rising from junior to adept, Roze eventually became one of the youngest archwitches to ever achieve the rank in recent years. A stoic and somewhat somber person, she rarely speaks about her past and seems to grow uncomfortable when it becomes the subject of conversation, leading some to believe it may be riddled with tragedy. To Roze herself, there was a particular mission where she was the sole survivor in her early days as a journeyman magus. While a prodigy, she was still so green, prone to all the misgivings and pitfalls of youthful unpreparedness. Her squadron wiped out, she steeled herself for the end, bloodied and grasping her broken staff. There was a single individual, they weren't with another battalion and walked the danger zone alone. Stride like a veteran and the pride of a wolf, they tore through the ranks of the rotted beasts as if they were newborns. After dealing with the monsters, The individual turned to Roze and mended her wounds, she couldn't quite find the words to speak, still in shock with her life flashing before her eyes. They turned to Roze and spoke first. “Mourn your comrades with dedication. Don't wallow in hindsight, make your pain your strength.” That was all he said before leaving. She didn't understand what he meant by those words back then, but she's internalized them. Perhaps it's why she's become so reserved, focused on honing her abilities to prevent further tragedies Eventually, her dedication allowed her to soar to the rank of Archwitch, allowing her renown to reach the ears of Arteus, who promptly offered an invitation of recruitment into Eon along with private instruction. While it doesn’t show, her loyalty to the organization is unwavering, and values her allies on the field. Extra bits:

Roze grew up having strange hobbies that weren't traditionally “feminine” by old standards, preferring to play in marshes, abandoned buildings, and waterways. What say you, greenhorn?" Xashan Vhastia A veteran Reaver who's been at Eon since it's inception. Back when he was a solo freelancer, he was a magus of some renown. He had the opportunity to fight alongside Arteus on a few missions and was notably impressed with the man's mastery over the six principles. Eventually, Arteus told him of how he had the idea to establish his own personal sect at the Magus HQ, and invited him to join it when it he got it running. He felt a natural kinship and intrigue with the man and his proposal, also being someone who likes to do things his own way. He's consider him a brother in arms ever since. A bestial Belua, he has the looks and the disposition of a proud lion, and has the power of one to boot. While in battle, he puts his proficiency of Elementalism and Alchemy to full use. The wields the power of Earth, mainly using it in the form of sand. His impressive alchemic knowledge allows him to transmute it into countless tiny strands of a golden alloy that he uses to supplement his combat, both close and mid range. These skills have earn him the moniker 'Beast of the Golden Sands'. He's quite jovial and enjoys joining friends in a good laugh, but he can also be very snide and domineering. It's put him at odds with others more than a few times.

Brunhyldia Amelia Selini "The Void contains vast knowledge, and the Light shall be the guide." An immensely powerful sorceress whose expertise in both Thaumaturgy and Void theory is known far and wide. Both she and Arteus served under the same regimen during their time before founding Eon. Both were regarded as prodigies by even the High Council of the Association. Many people find themselves off put by Irvin, but she trust and understands his intentions more than anyone, having fought with him for so long. She assists him in overseeing the daily goings of the Tower and providing support for new recruits. Much like Irvin, she has fully mastered all six principles of sorcery. In particular, Brunhyldia is able to freely combine the energies of both Thaumaturgy and Void to create the sinister magic known as Chaos. It is a rare and primordial ability that allows her to influence phenomena around her in various degrees. For other magical abilities, she gathers around her alchemic crystals that grant her a high level of control of void energy not usually seen, transmuted from an unknown substance that seems to resonate with black magic. Along with this, she generates purifying light in various forms. From weapons to shockwaves, she can also make chains that even bind miasma abominations. Her power has caused her to the earn the moniker, "Witch of Chaos", throughout the magus world.

"I'd advise you to take your training and studies seriously. Otherwise, I might just decide to cast you away into the watery depths." Ruecian Valeniquen A serpentine Belua with the appearance of a handsome young man. He serves as a combat instructor of sorts, drilling newcomers to the Tower on their specific field strategies and battle tactics. He is a man of few words, and when he does speak he expects those he's instructing to listen as if there lives depend on it (which it rather does...). While appearing cold and rough, his has a soft spot for those close to him, particularly his little sister. A powerful Elementalist and Inovker, he calls forth a mighty Ryujin spirit to drastically increase the power of his water and ice abilities. Naturally, the Tower quickly sought him out for his skills and battle insight.

"Such is to be expected of a genius like me~" Evelyn Grace A young magus who recently received her license from the Association. Standing out amongst her peers, her application to the Tower was accepted and she hopes use Eon as a foothold to establish a career as a world famous witch. She's mostly motivated by delusions of grandeur, due to hearing of the accomplishments of the more senior members. Her heart's in the right place at the end of the day though. She has high proficiency in Element manipulation and Void usage. In particular, she can combine the elements of fire and lightning to create a plasma-like element she calls 'star'. Using the essence of Void, she can lessen gravity's hold on her - allowing her to fly around on her staff. She can also use this ability on her surroundings, levitating objects and other people as she sees fit. She's also currently perfecting a technique that fully combines her elemental techniques with her usage of void, something she refers to as a "Nebula Field".

"The voice of the gentle streams have been troubled as of late..." Lapis Valeniquen Another recent addition to the Eon team of Espers, she is Ruecian's younger sister. He objected at first to her joining the field, but seeing the promise she held and feeling it'd be easy to keep an eye on her, he placed his faith in Arteus and his team to keep her safe. Like her brother, she can freely conjure and manipulate water. She is usually seen with her familiar, Hachigan, a spirit resembling a tiny octopus. She also has a unique esper ability that allows her to communicate with sea-faring creatures, calling it the 'voice of the stream'. She's a bit more forth-coming and friendly than her older sibling.

Administrative Staff
"I'm a man of simple pleasures. Booze, guns, and the sweet smell of reconstruction at work!" Johannes Childes A senior Reaver whose led a sterling 40 year career in the field of monster hunting before the Tower was created. A gritty old timer who underneath the roughneck bravado offers a profound insight into the world of magitech theory and battle tactics. It's no surprise that shortly after conceiving Eon, Arteus personally sought him out and insisted that he join their fold. The Tower's robust system of magitech weapons are an attribute of his creative mind. He's retired now, and mainly serves as the Tower's blacksmith/mechanic and as an advisor for aspiring alchemists and budding magitech researchers. Even at his old age, though, he's still willing to volunteer for the most dangerous missions with a childish smile on his face, eager to test out whatever new firearm or tech suit he's toiled away at. You'd be hard press to find a better gunslinger, using a self-transforming alchemic gun with bullets to boot. He also imbues the bullets with various elemental effects to further bolster his attack power, though he sometimes uses too much power and becomes more of a danger to his allies along with enemies. While not on the job one can usually find him in either his personal atelier, which serves as more of an arms factory and alchemy laboratory for the Tower, or drinking the night away at any local bar in town. Be prepared for his shop to reek of rusted metal, chemical fumes, and cheap liquor.

Name: Naomi Schuller Appearance:

Race: Belua (Galah) Sex: Female Age: 20 (+7) Magic Divination: Elementalism (Wind Specialization) and Alchemy (Transformation Specialization) Abilities: By an large, a noncombatant by nature of being a Avian Belua, and possessing hollow bones and tender wings, Naomi specializes in Defensive Magic and Mobility Magic, with a few Offensive Spells. Zyphering: Naomi’s bread and butter spell, a form of Mobility Magic that uses her natural-born control over Wind Magic to lighten her body further, and - unashamedly - run away from combat, nine times outta ten. That one in ten, however, she’s a tough target to hit. Natural Weapon: The most unused spell in Naomi’s arsenal, as it’s, in her own words, “More hassle than its worth,” as it’s only purpose is to grow her fingernails and toenails into talons, and sharpen their edges, as well as the edges of her wings. However, she grows heavier as a result, requiring [Zyphering], ‘lest she be a “flightless bird”. At that point, she’d rather run away than deal with the several hours of nail treatments and preening. Crimson Cockatrice “Icarus”: All Belua have a “bestial” side to them. Some embrace it. Some do not. Some... fear the beast inside. Naomi is one of those that fears her own nature - predatory, never prey; her pink wings a mere warning of the flame awaiting fuel. Once entering “beast mode”, Naomi’s wings turn crimson and the air around her falls under her sway, becoming superheated thermals that lifts her and scorches her foes to the point of spontaneous combustion. However, like her persona’s namesake, while Naomi’s “possessed” by her inner beast, her wings are slowly burning away, and eventually, she will crash and burn; a truly flightless bird, until her wings grow back. Gentling Breeze: A thinker, Naomi does have some interest in combining two Schools of Magic into one, and while not as prolific (see: annoying) as Nadia is in the task, she has her own Unique Spell, “A spell that soothes the heart and soul of the angered and depressed with a gentling breeze...” and can pacified the wild beast in pain. Equipment: Not one for fighting, being unfit for the task by the nature of her birth, Naomi carries around a light satchel of the necessities: a feather brush, a waterskin, a small tin of benne wafers, three empty journals, two inkwells, and a pen nib that she can supply a feather for as needed. As per a Belua to Belua suggestion (see: unsubtle command) from Xashan, she carries a small, chipped dagger - broken in a training accident - holstered on her thigh, because, “You don’t get to decide who does and doesn’t want to fight magically. Always have a blade.” Brief Background: A recent graduate of a branch of the Morgenröte Research Institute, known as The Menagrie, dedicated to Magizoology - the study of Magical Beasts. An Avian Belua, Naomi had a natural affinity to the subject, holding top marks and cultural insights as to the nature of her magical progenitors. Having such accolades at her age, it was less of a question of “when” and more of a question of “why not” as to how the field had swallowed her whole, and drained her talent. The reason, no-one was taking someone like her - short, cowardly, introverted, scatterbrained - into the field to study, meaning that she’d no real experience to showcase, and therefore, generated no interest. Especially, as her chosen thesis was a study of Cryptomagizoology - the study of Mythical Magical Beasts, the Divine Animals. Nobody was looking for a “future crashout”. Except a certain collector of “nobodies” named Arteus Irvin, prodigal, bastard son of the Reaver Association and indomitable, uncertain danger to the Holy Church. Founder of Eon Tower, he was scouting talent, far and wide, and her research papers - few and far between - caught his attention. It was a simple negotiation: her insight, his funding. A match made in modernized Heaven. The rest is history barely worth the recounting. People came and went, and Naomi regarded them all with equal introversion - taking conversation as one would sips of water, quick and short, unless the topic at hand was one of Magizoology, or especially, Cryptomagizoology. Any method of the two, and she would launch into a diatribe that could rival even Nadia. However, she is somewhat slightly spoiled by Arteus’s passiveness, and rarely leaves Eon Tower grounds beyond a wall around the gardens kept by Bellum. Recently, though, she’s broached the idea of... venturing beyond the walls. Perhaps, the recent restaffing has inspired her a little... Extra Bits:

Well not vain, Naomi is very finicky about keeping her nails manicured and pedicured and her wing feathers well preened, much like Simple Avians.

Though she studied in Morgenröte, Naomi was born in and immigrated from Haearn Pelyn, so she has a notable accent.

Gets annoyed whenever Kiff asks for a feather, as he always wants a tail feather.

Favors Bellum, like most, because she’s a ray of light in a dark world, and a cornucopia given life.

Made a promise to Elaine to never “fly close to the sun reckless” unless it was the only choice.

Feels that Childes thinks less of her for being a pacifist Belua, and hasn’t approached him to repair her dagger

In a legendary event, once talked to Nadia about fusing Mythical Beast Spirits for twenty-seven hours. What is a synergist, you say? Well, I'm so happy you asked!" Nadia Whitsett A interesting alchemic scholar born to a family of invokers in the republic. She often goes on about wanting to usher in a new sorcerous principle that she calls 'synergy'. Based on what she says, it's based on strengthening the power of a invoked spirit and the amount of time it's summoner can maintain it in the Material World by utilizing alchemic reactions to continuously transmute nearby energy as fuel. As one would guess, she hadn't gotten much ground with her theory as of yet. Still, it shouldn't be ignored that her alchemic and galdr knowledge is superb for one in her field. So much so that even Arteus decided that she be fit for the tower as an invocation adviser. Being from a family of such, Nadia can summon various sprites around her, she supplements their abilities by utilizing various potions and transmuting magical energy from a grimoire she carries with her.

"Feel free to take what you need from the library. Just make my life easier, and return everything on time. He'd tell you that he was a respectable archeologist, but other will say that he was a treasure hunter with questionable morals. Still, he was able to collect countless grimoires and magical artifacts during his escapades. Wanting a quieter life, he decided to quit the seeker gig and open a bazaar. Many were impressed with the items and texts he had for sale, but didn't appreciate the outlandish prices he sold them for. He eventually gained the eye of Arteus, who convinced him that he knowledge and wares would be more appreciated at his private sect. He now serves as a librarian for Eon, which houses countless grimoires and magic items. She was once a magus who acted as a medic out on the field, assisting in purifying areas and people of miasma that haven't fully succumb to it's effects. She actually close friends with Brunhyldia and agree to join the Tower at her request. She earned her name by the impressive way she imbues her potions and medication with Thaumaturgic effects, being able to cure those afflicted with the early stages of miasma corruption. By and large, her magic is dedicated to growing plants and rearing animals, but she can weave boons (and branes) into any meal. However, a former Reaver, and soldier, she has a few tricks in her cookbook. Sweet Golem: The first of three Golems that Bellum can summon from her Cooking Grimoire. Sweet Golem abhor fighting in all its form, and will do anything to sooth over friends fighting each other, and, in combat, prioritize healing. However, because of this, they are fragile and break easy. Sour Golem: Second in the Golems under Bellum’s creation, these dour things constantly seek to get in the way of others goals, sabotaging pranks, and in combat, functioning as shields. Tougher than their nicer counterparts, they can take a few solid hits before going down. Spicy Golem: Last, but not least of the Golem, these hyperactive buggers are never still, never tire, and never read the room. If friends are busy, they are bothering them, seeking to play, play, play, and in combat, all they know is FIGHT. In the middleground of their fellows, they tend to destroy themselves before enemies can out of sheer reckless behavior. Equipment: Rare to leave Eon Tower, Bellum’s carry-on consist of... well, kitchenware and her grimoire. The basic needs of a witch in the kitchen. On the rare, rare occasion she ventures beyond the walls, she carries along a staff made by Roze to replenish her Mana. Brief Background: Born a simple child with simple dreams to a Faefolk Mother and Human Father, Bellum was never one to think herself destined for greatness. Maturing into a simple woman with simple dreams, Bellum was never one to believe she would amount to much. However, war does not believe in destiny or self-worth. It demands it. Before Eon Tower, before Arteus, before the Association, before Morgenröte, there were Monsters and Monster Hunters. Soldiers with one goal: Kill. Lieutenant Bellum Hawke was one such soldier. But that was before. Not one to live in the past, Bellum presents as a simple woman with simple goals: present the best that food has to offer, and unify everyone at the one place that everyone is equal. The dinner table. As a senior member of the Administrative Staff, Bellum spends most of her time keeping the hearth warm and the home sweet, alongside her Golems, and the other apprentice. Her strides are marketable and celebrated, but she takes no pride or joy in doing what comes naturally to her. A bonafide caretaker, and a passionate chef, the kitchen of Eon Tower comes bustling to life at mealtime hours. It is only in the quiet time of the night, with the crack of a bottle, and the pouring of a little cooking sherry, that the facade drops - if only for a moment. A sip. A prayer. And, she’s back. Tomorrow’s a new day, and there’s tell of new staff in-coming! Extra Bits:

Bellum is acutely aware of her weight, and takes no offense to slights. A dash of Alchemy will do that for her.

Rarely, Bellum will visit upon Kiff for leads on ancient recipes of Faefolk in the Years Long Gone

Once a month, Bellum will visit Naomi for the day, and leave with a covered basket.

Thinks that Nadia is sweet and well-meaning, but also an overly talkative lady sometimes.

Can be a little standoffish with Elaine at times, as their motherly natures clash.

Every year, like clockwork, Bellum will join Childes at the Reaver Memorial to honor their fallen with a drink and laughs. By forcing himself down an untold sect, Grisha would return a man changed - visibly aged, but frighteningly powerful. Arms of Alexander: Summoning the Remembrance of the Machine God of the Pelyn People, Grisha shapes earth and fire into metal, and that metal into the arms of the Living City, Alexander. Extremely powerful, able to launch explosive missiles in large, costly salvos, draining great deals of magic. However, these arms are also extremely durable and can block great deals of damage, making them quick shields. Unfortunately, due to the sheer weight of the metal clockwork, Grisha can barely move himself without... Legs of Alexander: The second Remembrance of Alexander, specifically the legs of the Machine God. Not designed for attack, but mobility, boiling water within the metal frames to allow for rocket-propelled movement and limited flight. Allowing for deceptively fluid and swift motions, evasive maneuvers, and gap-closers, the magic required to pull water from the air and convert it into fuel is immense, and Grisha will walk rather than flight to support his arms and legs. Aware of his upper limit, Grisha does have a trump card to surpass it in the form of... Frame of Alexander: The final Remembrance of Alexander, the frame, or body, of the Machine God. Solely to reinforce the Arms and Legs, and modulate the magic costs to power them. It can be summoned alone for the sake of acting as nigh-impregable chest armor, but the inability to move with any real speed, Grisha rarely summons this until pushed to do so. By combining the Arms, Legs, and Frame, Grisha can access his “break glass” option... Crown of Alexander: The hidden, fourth Remembrance of Alexander, the crown of the tallest tower, which, when combined with the three Remembrances of Alexander, allow him to become the Avatar of Alexander, the Machine God, the Living City. However, the form is not without its punishment, as “Humanity is not allowed to play God, even for a moment.” Grisha does not use Mana to power this form, but his Lifeforce, aging him years in minutes. After his first usage, Grisha had physically aged from his early forties to his late seventies. Tethys would pull his age back, physically, but visually, he appears to be in his late fifties. As a result, Marianne swore Grisha to never use the Crown unless she asked him, “If smoking is sin, then why does God appear a fire?” to which the answer is, “If smoking was a sin, God wouldn't appear as fire.” Equipment: Grisha is a simple man of the cloth, and carries necessities for travel, a pack of cigarettes, and his bible. Brief Background: A humble, but inpatient man, Grisha Penworth was a rambunctious and reckless youth, determined to, like all boys, prove himself in the eyes of a woman; though, at the time, she was but a skin-and-bones child in rags with eyes of honeyed gold. From his childhood, Grisha followed behind his own, personal Goddess, Marianne Farnoir Ixnil. As she rode through the ranks of the Holy Church to the seat of Apostle, he would stay in her shadow, and rise through the ranks of Inquisitors. There would only come one time that he would stray from her shadow, called away by destiny to safeguard her future, so he claimed. This would result in the first and only time Marianne would exercise her control over him, making him swear to never use the full power he'd obtained within the Library of Alexander, the Living City of Pelyn. That event would introduce him to Tethys, as well, and cement the unspoken belief - even to Marianne herself - in his path. Known as Sentinel Penworth, Grisha would gain Ambassadorship, assigned to act as mediator and negotiator between the Holy Church and her opposition. Though, his impatience tends to negatively impact tense affairs, as he will cut in to directly state the visitation goals. As a result, he is also known as Grisha the Demanding, much to his chagrin. Extra Bits:

Grisha smokes Porphura, though neither confirms or denies any relationship with the Grave Wardens.

Grisha has a relationship with Marianne that changes depending on who you ask. Brief Background: Tethys was never born, but always was; never lost, yet never found; a force of Divinity, a being of Morality; a Phoenix, hatched from an egg that no-one laid. A member of the Holy Church since the days of its founding, Tethys has never known anything else for as long as she can remember, for all her lives; short as the twinkle of a dying star, and impactful upon the soul. Raised in shelter, Tethys knows so little of the modern world, and it knows little of her beyond the visions that her past lives have used to “feather her nest” and keep her home nice and comfy, whether that's achieved through benevolence or maliciousness. However, recently, Tethys has felt compelled to follow Grisha and Marianne, taking to adventuring away from her nest for the first time in twenty-one years; a fledgling taking flight for unknown reasons. Perhaps, the new Eon Tower? His appearance is marked by sharp features, most notably his mean-looking eyes, causing those around him to adopt a sense of unease and caution. It certainly doesn’t help that he has a blunt, unpleasant way of speaking along with having a bad attitude and general unfriendly disposition. All that combined with the fact that he’s rather lazy when it comes to most things and dresses like a ruffian, and it’s no wonder why most find him to be an unsavory chap. Despite this, he’s actually quite skilled in the art of magic and combat, being able to easily rival the most experienced magus with little to no issue. Although, he integrates martial arts in his style more so than your average mage; many find their bodies being burned by the pain of broken bones and bruised flesh rather than by a fireball. Nevertheless, he’s shown high proficiency in various forms of sorcery and is actually quite intelligent. In fact, his techniques and abilities are rather similar to another famous sorcerer’s… He goes by the name "Vagus" in all instances, and doesn't take kindly to being called anything else. She does her part to maintain a healthy standing with the other members of Eon, but often clashes with Arteus as she feels his methods are too extreme. She tolerances him nonetheless, eager to improve relations between the Magus Association and the Fae Kingdom for the sake of the Queen who placed her trust in the young warrior. She wields a large ornamental bow while out in the field, well known in the forest for being a master sniper. Blessed with high magic aptitude, she combines her archery with holy magic so that her arrows dispel curses. She also utilizes flora magic to use the plant life around her to aid her in a pinch, in addition to using a familiar to further assist her. Her summon is called Feyln, a large moth with silvery wings. It spreads scales by flapping its wings, achieving various effects.
