Kale stood there in silence as the priestess studied him and fiddled with her notebook. He was not sure if he had made a mistake or not with the priestess as he awaited her response.  It felt awkward to him, he probably should not had to try to call her grace now that he thought about it. A mistake on his part, and he should know better. Kale would mentally kick himself as he still waited for the priestess to respond.       

Then, when that response came, in written form and not verbal, did Kale felt confused, and it showed. Why write it and not just say it? Is he missing something? Kale thought to himself, and in a confused manner, he would reply. "Huh..., to my knowledge, me being here is a response to the murders, and it is to be temporary. It's not a regular thing unless something changes. Otherwise, I do not know what you mean."

Yesterday... what does she mean by that, and is this something people should know about? Kale would sign but, the priestess seems a bit nervous so, he will not try and make it worse for her.     

Still, maybe his answer will help and calm her down a bit. Studying her body to see if it did. Kale had to admit that him being here is unorthodox but apparently necessary in the eyes of his superiors. Though maybe not to her. 

Either way, Kale eagerly awaits her response and sees if him being here is negatively affecting her. The last thing Kale needs on his first day of being a guard here is to unrightly to the high priestess. Well, it's time to see how it reacts, and maybe his first day being a guard will not be so bad. At least, Kale hopes that is.
