Some tan dude with impressive hair - looked like an Entei or something - had responded to his question. Guy seemed cool and his light response elicited a grin from the Kanto native, who decided that he liked this guy already.


“Sure, I get that. Wanna get started right away, huh?”


This seemed to get David excited, building on the hype he had for today. In truth, [i]he[/i] also wanted to begin his journey, he had just only been up for a few minutes and hadn’t really thought about it until now.

The girl seemed nice, and it seemed these two new people had a similar train of thought. The psychic bounced up, now too energized by the idea of adventure to stay still, staying animated as he spoke.


“You bet! I'm from Vermillion City in Kanto. Lots of ships, tall buildings and the electric gym! How about you guys?”


Giving them time to respond, he then added “either of you know where you're going yet after all of this?” This was either rhetorical, or David was too excited to wait for an answer. He wasn't sure which, and he didn't think about it. “I don't, but we can travel together if you want.”


Then, seeming to remember something, he added “oh right, I'm David!”


That was probably important, yeah.
