Christian's arms automatically wrapped around Penny's waist, returning her hug with a generous amount of pressure. He found the contact and motion came to him easily. Christian had hugged souls before and hugged Penny before but this one seemed different. It settled him in a way he didn't realize he needed. The news that Death presented him with didn't seem daunting anymore. He was looking forward to telling Penny about it.
