Sherry definitely bullied her half-sister weakling dissapointment who choked, any chance she got. But it was very passive-agressive gloating spoiled brat stuff. Sherry probably never got physical with Isana. 

But because of Sherry's "mean girl trying to put on the front of a kind saint" act, everybody thought that's the extent of what she'd be capable of. Nobody who wasn't involved knows she's behind Estelle.
