Name: Hector Wyland
A man whose raggedness betrays his noble upbringing, Hector has shed everything that he has come from in order to become a hunter of abominations. He has the appearance of a gravekeeper, with bags beneath his eye and a mane of silvered hair that has been left to split and fray as it pleases. Hector can most often be seen in his padded armor, designed to offer a degree of protection against smaller ballistics and weaponry while maintaining his agility.
Race: Human Sex: Male Age: 27 Magic Divination: Galdr, Thaumaturgy Abilities:

Ghost Loading: A simple spell used to shape ambient spiritual energy into solid shells propelled by a spirit’s desire to “seek life”. Hector uses this spell to create bullets from thin air to save his elemental cartridges for larger threats.
Suspend Shot: Ghost loaded projectiles are suffused with Hector’s magic, allowing him a great deal of control over them. With enough power placed within them, he can even cause the shots to perfectly stop themselves in the air to resume motion at a later time. For this to work however, he needs to maintain line of sight with his bullets.
Phantasmal Beckoning: A man with one foot in the grave, Hector’s connection to the spirits of the departed is particularly strong. He is able to call ghosts to his aid via forming a “Contract” with them, with the condition being to fulfill a wish of theirs, or a final request. Failure to fulfill his end of the bargain would result in a direct blow to Hector’s soul. A contract can be rejected if unreasonable to either party, and likewise, a spirit that fails to uphold their end of the bargain may be punished by the spell.
Phantasmal Infusion: Once a spirit is Beckoned with Phantasmal Beckoning, Hector can either store it for use later in an appropriately sized container for the strength of the spirit, release it straight away as a temporary summon, or to instead direct the spirits to inhabit his body. While a spirit infuses Hector, his physical abilities gain a substantial increase at the downside of being heavily influenced by the spirit inhabiting him. Regardless, the nature of the contract ensures that Hector always retains control of his index fingers, ensuring that none other than him can pull the trigger.
Herne: Herne is…different from the usual spirits summoned by Hector. A ghostly silver snake beckoned by a contract before Hector understood his own magic, Herne has neither vanished nor punished Hector, remaining a faithful companion to the drifting marksman. Despite his ability to maintain manifestation somewhat indefinitely, Herne is incredibly weak and is best suited to scouting for Hector, or helping him maintain accuracy on his shots.

Dispel: A simple thaumaturgic magic designed to expel corrupt miasma from the area. Hector is able to use this directly on corrupted spirits, having refined this basic spell into a targeted purification.
Ward of Morning: A protective barrier spell used to cleanse miasma in a small area while also making it painful for corrupted entities to be inside. While the damage inflicted by the spell is minimal, it also makes creatures of unholy origin move significantly slower. If an Apparition enters the ward's area, they will become susceptible to physical damage and other magic types.
Mending: The simplest of healing spells that is designed to speed up a body’s natural healing process. Hector’s lack of practice with this spell has lead it to be his least refined technique.

Equipment: Freischütz: A well-maintained revolver-action rifle that Hector has carried with him for several years now. A foolish purchase by an impressionable noble youth has now become his lifeline. The make of the rifle is top of the line, durable and sleek with each part functioning smoothly for the user, with a cylinder release on the bottom that allows it to fire six shots in succession before needing to be reloaded. The gun itself is made to be conductive to Galdr incantations, allowing the user to channel spirits within it for increased firepower, or along the length of it to enhance stability. Elemental Cartridge: A limited stock of ammo used by Hector that mimics the usage of elemental magic. Comprised of energised crystalline dust that is suffused with elemental energy mixed with gunpowder, Hector only brings these out in case of an emergency due to the severe damage they can inflict on his firearm, along with having enough explosive force to break his arm if he isn’t careful. Despite being elementally charged, Bayonet: A simple steel blade roughly ten inches in length that can be used as a simple knife or attached to the end of Freischütz. Brief Background: Nobles of Caigehn are born into lives of leisure and slow death. Sons poised to prey upon their father’s fortunes like vultures, and daughters locked in gilded cages as prizes for other families to earn for marriage. Hector was born to such a life, third son of four and without prospects to earn his father’s fortune through succession, he would idly tell himself: “The church is the path to status”. And so, with such a selfish motive he would expect a seat at the Theocracy of Flugell, only to be abruptly shuffled off to a missionary on the tail end of the border with the Great Ithaca Forest Ambitions snuffed and with his coinage spent on a gun to protect him from the savage wilds teeming on the edge of his paranoia, Hector was a miserable half-baked priest who was as pompous as one would expect a social climber. For seven years he would languidly perform his duties as a member of the church, healing his “flock” when needed while cursing his luck behind closed doors, his icy heart thawing over time as those around him cared for the belligerent priest in his weakest hours. From the kindhearted but stern farmer who dragged him out to learn an honest day’s work, to the baker’s young daughter that made him a clumsy, miserably made cookie that was in the shape of his face (It wasn’t), Hector grew to slowly become a better person before his new life was torn out from under him. To a Magus, an abomination is an enemy. To a flock of normal people, it may as well be a walking natural disaster. Claws of silvery shadow, eyes filled with hate for the living, an abomination single-handedly wiped out the settlement that Hector had called home, his only saving grace being that he was felled by a river, flailing into it as his right eye was cut apart. Drifting down river to Ithaca, Hector would lose and then regain purpose; He would become a Reaver, trained in Galdr by the Fae spirits that were begged for aid by a mysterious white serpent. Now, he has joined Eon, hoping to lay waste to more abominations with like-minded Magi. Anything else we should know about you: Quiet and reserved, Hector is afraid of opening himself up to others after losing his flock. Despite this, he is the type to silently look out for others as best he can without directly involving himself. Herne has been by his side ever since he awoke, the snake’s origins a mystery even to its Master.

Name: Remila "Rem" Indagrund
As short as any gnome you could find, only somehow an inch or so shorter, Remila is a meek and bookish woman who could easily fade into the background the moment you weren’t directly speaking to her. Her up-close eyesight is terrible, forcing her to always have a set of spectacles on-hand. Overall, her appearance is clearly far from her own concern, as she often has the look of a researcher that spends their nightly hours poring over ink and paper rather than pillow and sheet.
Race: Gnome Sex: Female Age: 31 Magic Divination: Alchemy / Elementalism Abilities:
Utilizing every aspect of elementalism in some way in the creation of golems, Remila creates her magic tools on the fly in the form of “Core bodies” for her golems. Only one can be active at a time, with the exception of the G-Smallers being able to operate with 100 bodies, or 1 Smaller alongside any of the larger main units.

G-Buster: A golem unit that tends to be created as eight foot tall piles of bricks with fists. All-around solid attackers that utilize the most Fire magic to harden up its body, while also being able to use a furnace in its chest to energize itself independently of the limited energy their cores are created with.
G-Soarer: A free-flying triangle-shaped golem with a pair of talons that it uses to stabilize itself on land. The G-Soarer is constructed of air-element hollowed stone that allows it to freely fly through the air at the cost of a brittle body.
G-Driller: Capable of burrowing through the ground with unprecedented speed, the G-Driller is Remila’s Earth-embodied golem. Diamond-hard drills allow it to burrow at rapid speeds, while the weight of the golem makes it prohibitively slow in combat.
G-Swifter: Flash-baked with lightning and lightning-quick besides, G-Swifters are created for transportation purposes and move fast enough that parts of their body literally break apart while moving.
G-Defender: Created in order to ensure maximum safety for those around it, the G-Defender is half-baked with Water Elementalism that gives its body a putty-like consistency. Capable of only pure defense, a G-Defender is virtually indestructible as long as its core is not destroyed.
G-Smaller: So small that they can be made in a factor of one hundred alone, G-Smallers are designed to be everyday helpers that Remila uses as all-purpose mailmen, butlers (sometimes maids too), cooks, proofreaders, tailors, editors, isolated society experiments, hairdressers, cobblers, coffee percolators…The point is, they’re multifaceted but ill-suited to combat. Seems to have a limited form of sentience, likely due to ambient elemental energy mimicking their environment.

Equipment: Archaeology Kit: A simple set of brushes, picks, various strength magnifying glasses, ink roller…just about anything that someone would need to conduct research digs or jot notes down, the tiny bundle Remila carries in her pack has it all. No whips included. Golem Bakery: The specialized mold that Remila uses to bake her golem cores. These create the brain and heart of any of her golems, with the body being formed around the fresh core. Brief Background: Arcadia is a land full of innovations set for the future, but young Rem always was more interested in what had come before it all. The precursors, the rise and fall of kingdoms, even something as simple as why the races were all so different from one another. Born to a modest family, lifelong workers of Krauser Industries, Rem was convinced that her life would be spent tinkering like her family on a magitech production line. It wouldn't be until she was old enough to leave her home that she'd join as an extra set of hands for magitech excavator maintenance that she discovered that her passion lied in archaeology. Each of her golems was something she improvised from her own family recipes for golem cores, with each helping her achieve greater efficiency both in her studied and in defending herself, the G-Smallers being the culmination of her core refinement of splitting one mind over a hundred bodies. From then on, the eager gnome would pore over countless historical tomes and decipher ancient scrolls in a bid to uncover anything she could about the world before; Until one day she came upon a centuries old ruin that felt...off. There were no bones within, no records, nothing save for a bound urn wrapped tightly in chains. Remila didn't remember anything after touching it, suddenly finding herself under the watch of Eon Tower...
