As Bonnie began to root around in her pack, Lex glanced around the lobby. Though she had understood that they were required to evacuate for their own safety, she hadn't felt comfortable leaving like this. It was her duty to help guard the artifacts housed in the museum. What if someone were to take advantage of the chaos to try and loot the building? It'd be on her watch that irreplaceable items would disappear.

Perhaps her boss would be kinder that she focused on visitors first. Valuable fossils and paintings could always be replicated for display, like a fake bone casting. People, on the other hand, were much different. You couldn't replicate a living person from pictures and models.

Nonetheless, she hadn't had much time to worry over potential outcomes. Hearing a woman yell from beyond the doors, Lex turned her head to the commotion. Whoever it had been, it seemed that Liana had known her as she rushed to hug the stranger.

[color=7E8C54]"Seems like the cavalry is here."[/color] Lex joked, as a large military-like vehicle pulled up the doors of the museum.

Glancing around the museum lobby, Kali soon laid eyes on her roommate. Thankful she was safe, Kali joined Liana in a friendly hug between the two of them. As Liana asked about how things were outside, however, her relief soon was replaced with sorrow. [color=a52a2a]"Jeff was attacked at the Twin Seasons by one of our co-workers. They took him to the hospital some hours ago. And Gladys... her husband was hit by a car. We tried to get her to evacuate with us, but she wanted to wait for him back home. The city isn't safe for anyone, Liana."[/color]
