Madalyne grew up in the orphanage in Paragon City, she never knew who her actual parents were or where she came from. One of the caregivers found her as a baby in a basket at the front door, she didn't even have a name or anything. So the caregivers gave her the name Madalyne. As she grew up she was eventually adopted and raised by a loving family. They lived in Nighthaven District of Paragon City which is known for it's magic users. As she grew up her family taught Madalyne how to use magic which she was very good at.

Madalyne remained pretty quiet and keeps her grades up and is great in school and no one really has paid much attention to her. Recently the Void a new gang in the city started to sprout out around small parts of the city, her parents told her to stay as far away from them as possible which she has so far. Until one day The Void attacked her family and she quickly stepped in using her magic to protect her family they eventually fled and left her alone. Madalyne decided to help her district and has been becoming a smalltime hero in Paragon City.
