In blind panic as she was starting to suffocate, Aurora dug her hands in and around where she could on the creature. Drawing on what little strength she had and the knowledge that her friends were coming to help her, she pulled on the creature as hard as she could. The pain from the creature trying to maintain it's terrible grip over her face was almost blinding, however Aurora managed to pry it off. Taking a deep gasping breath, she threw the creature away from herself  and ran away from it hoping to keep it from gaining purchase over her face again. She draws her shortsword expecting the creature to pursue or try to attack someone else.
