A smile surfaced on instinct as the sensation reminded him of Nat. She was the closest thing he had to a big sister. He missed her so much and wondered if Troia could sense the longing he had for his sister figure and decided to step into the role without him even asking. Maybe she recognized in him what she was feeling in herself. He wrestled with the idea of helping her with her quest to find Diana. The only thing holding him back from it was that it was her mission and reason for leaving the Island of Paradis in the first place. Snapping back to the moment he piped up, "Hey! Contrary to what Kyle will have you believe, I'm not a Saiyan. It takes tender love and care to get this hair this good." When the others started discussing whether or not they should execute their enemies or let the justice system fail to do its job he opted to stay out of the conversation. He was somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards Troia's side. But as the son of the Big Blue Boy Scout he couldn't actually vocalize that. Scandals aside, he didn't need others knowing that he didn't come from a happy-go-lucky future or attempting to talk him out of killing Lex or Brainiac when the time came. Maybe he'd ask Troia for help. While Conner agreed that sometimes killing was necessary he didn't believe that killing every villain or even criminal was necessary. Some people didn't have a choice. Some, like Cinderblock, were great punching bags. He felt death was deserved for the worst of the worst, the ones who didn't care about the lives of others, who saw people as toys or chess pieces in some grand scheme and wouldn't be tortured by the lives they took. Conner listened as the team was split into three smaller squads. He was being teamed up with Wonder Girl and Kid Flash. They were a pretty stacked and fast team. He wasn't sure the T-Bird crew would even have the opportunity to do anything. He turned to look at Lilith when Jupiter did and kept his eyes on her. She was hard to read and he didn't like that. The past of the future he came from needed someone like her. Where was she when someone needed to stop Lex's plan? He wondered how his presence here might've already affected the future or her visions. Could him being here make her see multiple branches in the timeline? He was honestly surprised that she and Jupiter even let him on the team. When Troia concluded that she'd kill Cinderblock if he should cause the loss of life, Conner simply nodded. "Let's hope the blockhead isn't that dumb." When Wally asked to race and left without a response, Conner turned to Troia with a smile and a shrug. "Last one there does the team's laundry for a month." He didn't wait for her approval or denial of the conditions of defeat and sped out of the door to catch up with Kid Flash.
