Though you played a small part, you played a part nonetheless in the final picture and sometimes, that is all that we can hope for in the end. It is a story about the age of the Empire. From the core worlds to the vast reaches of the Outer Rim, the Galactic Empire continues to spread its insidious influence. More and more systems, crushed by the threat of military intervention and economic sanction, reluctantly agree to imperial administration and rule. The tide of its vast bureaucratic fist is so overwhelming, so all-encompassing, that the suffering of millions of souls is hidden by a mask of surrender. Imperial rule is inevitable. That is what the Empire demands. It is a story about the rise of the Rebellion. From a senator on Coruscant to a starship scrapper on Nimea II, the Rebellion is made up of a thousand struggles that tell the same tale. More and more people, sick of the Empire's lies and atrocities, rise up against imperial oppression and fear. The sparks of the Rebellion are small and scattered that it is almost hard to glance in the darkness. Yet, it must shoulder on for the dream of a brighter future. That is what the Rebellion fights for. That is what the Rebels fight for. It is a story about you. You joined the Rebellion. Whether out of choice or necessity, that does not matter. You joined because there is no other recourse. This rebel cell is shit. The rations are crap. You barely get any sleep at night but you have nowhere else to go because you are desperate to be free from the yoke of Imperial rule. That is why you take this last chance.
The game takes place in 5 B.B.Y (Before Battle of Yavin IV) and is roughly a month before the Aldanhi Heist. The location of the game is in the Sarsanna Sector. The Sarsanna Sector is a highly industrialized and colonized sector in the periphery of the Outer Rim, acting as a central trade zone for the confluence of both the Rimma Trade Route and the Hydian Way. In 15 B.B.Y, Admiral Tritos of the 4th Fleet arrived with a fleet of star destroyers to act as the primary vanguard for instituting Imperial law in the sector and to control two of the most essential hyperlanes in the galaxy. A brief scuffle between the spice gangs, pirates and imperial navy ensued, known as the Sarsanna Hyperlane Crisis. The conflict eventually resulted in Imperial victory as Admiral Tritos engaged in diplomacy with planetary governors in the system, promising that Imperial rule would free them from the reign of criminal activity which remained constant in Sarsanna during the days of the Republic. With cooperation of the planetary governors, Tritos succeeded in crushing criminal activity. Enter Last Chance. Originally composed of a group of political prisoners that fled an Imperial transport in 8 B.B.Y, Last Chance have been reported exterminated by the ISB numerous times before mysteriously reappearing elsewhere in the Sarsanna Sector. Whether the Last Chance is an continuation of the original cell or a splinter cell, it's irrelevant by this point. Anyone who can tell you the truth either doesn't want to, has forgotten the truth or is dead. Unlike other rebel cells, Last Chance lacks a physical figure, only receiving transmissions from a mysterious individual known only as 'Fulcrum'. Last Chance have received a transmission from Fulcrum to infiltrate the planet of Kelektor. Their mission. To meet with a rogue crew of engineers from the InCom corporation and exfiltrate with them. The only unfortunate thing is that Kelektor is under military curfew due to suspected sabotage from one of the other rebel cells in the system. So, all that stands in your way is an entire Imperial navy, a whole host of ISB personnel and a couple thousand stormtroopers. Another day in the life of a rebel....

Known Planets in the Sarsanna Sector Kelektor - A dense, aquatic planet that has acted as the primary waypoint for both the Rimma Trade Route and the Hydian Way. The massive surge of hyperlane activity and trading between the inner and outer rim resulted in the creation of a ring of artificial ringed space stations and elevators across the planet to facilitate the flow of trade goods and materials. These rings are known as the Band of Kelektor. The reign of the Empire has transformed these bands into heavily fortified imperial battle stations, able to repel any pirate vessel that dares to enter the region. Wnaru - Wnaru has been the attempted subject of Imperial colonisation for over five years and has repeatedly failed due to the indigenous lifeforms there. There have been rumours that the ISB has attempted to persuade the Senate to allow orbital bombardment but it risks destroying the rich tibanna gas deposits on the planetoid... Loyan III - Loyan III was once a lush farming planet where entire landmasses are dedicated to the cultivation and production of crops and livestock to supply to multiple sectors. During the Clone Wars, the Separatists unleashed a devastating biological virus that decomposed organic living material on touch. By the time the Republic intervened, half of Loyan III was turned into decaying, toxic marshland. The separatists unleashed a series of thermobaric missiles which ignited the organic gases that filled the atmosphere turning the planet into a firestorm. Now, Loyan III is a barren desert that requires artificial rebreathers for anyone to consider living down there.
