Once on the inside there was a first moment of lull in the activity as Kosara halted, listening and waiting for anything to happen. Hey she expected various traps to trigger possibly! Who didn’t trap their secret hideouts! Well this wasn’t exactly ‘secret’ hideout… Hmm maybe she was expecting a bit too much on that front, but it still was possibly a major part of whatever mystery was going on in these lands as of late. If that letter they had received was anything to go by, maybe there was a clue around this chamber. Now onto the topic of the room proper, it was a curious thing. Kosara noted the equal parts office, the various alcohol stocked up and the seemingly old historic objects placed around. Maybe a possible collection to pass the time. People were known to collect the most various of things that struck their fancy after all. For all she knew, there was somebody somewhere who was collecting weird books about rolling dice… or varied chess pieces! Who could really say what one might decide is worth collecting. Kosara herself didn’t collecting trinkets in, but she did like to write interesting things she would hear in her journals. Of varied things that were scattered in the room, beckoning for one’s curiosity to compel them to explore, there were a few of greater note that drew Kosara’s attention. First was the big sarcophagus looking box that was giving off extremely suspicious vibes. After that was the black journal with the fine dirt and the trinket that was very likely of ritualistic nature there was even a magic wand looking object next to the earth circle. Finally there was a box next to the desk… So many things to explore.” Decisions, decisions…” Kosara mumbled to herself, eyes darting all around trying to decide where to go in the end in her explorations. Then out of nowhere she had an idea on what to do first. She reached into her clothing pulling an amulet. An amulet she had nicked of Cavefish...ehhh… whatever his name was! Moving through the motions of it quickly until an adorable little rat was on her hand.” Hey Chauncy!” She greeted the little thing with a huge grin. Nonsense with humanoids rats aside, he was quite adorable and as something summoned via a figurine of wonderous power, he was very intelligent!” Could you keep an eye on the door for me and warn us if somebody’s coming?” She asked him. In the meantime V had moved ahead to check out the journal. So in the end Kosara decided to poke around the desk. The sarcophagus thing she decided for later just in case it turned out to be an undead monstrocity of some kind. You never knew with how the locale was as of late. The tiefling had barely reached said desk when V stated her observations.” Really? Fascinating!” Kosara marveled at the unorthodox approach to jury-rigging a magical ritual. Before her attention returned to the desk, eyes occasionally moving to the box next to it, first thing’s first though! Investigate the desk and the varied documents upon it! At least something had to be of some note.
