She had been allowed to go straight to the infirmary, where she quickly fell asleep, not even paying any mind to where or, what this place was. She was having one of the first good rests she had in a while. Possibly because it was the first time in so long she hadn't slept inside her Skell. But it helped her mind was free, and she could remember everything, where she came from, what she had lost. It wasn't the most happy of dreams, but subconsciously, she was just happy to remember the faces she had forgotten. The home that seemed so far gone. NLA, the city built from the debris of a colony ship, a human city, that she had come to call home despite not being one of them. And here she was again, in a strange place, but her time for realizing that would come. In her dreams, she saw her team, and all the people of NLA. And then there was, fire... everything turning to ash, until there was nothing. It was just darkness, and she calmed in her sleep, until eventually, her eyes finally opened to this alien place she had been brought to, slowly sitting up, and rubbing her head. She looked around the unfamiliar place, as if it was the first time seeing it. It took a moment for her to realize she wasn't alone. She saw that the door was open and that a dark humanoid figure is standing in the doorway, albeit with a slender body beneath a cloak and a large head with hornlike protrusions and a white mask. He seems familiar but the sensation is already fading. He would ask, "Newcomer. Are you awake?" Her first instinct was to reach for her weapons, but she found she had none, or at least they were not on her person anymore as she looked around for a moment, but managed to calm herself down. She wasn't new to odd situations like this... most of her life had been appearing in new places. Many of them had become home in the past, she allowed herself to hope that might be the case here. "I am. Who are you, and where am I? I can only somewhat recall being brought here..." Her voice was young, but spoken with confidence. It was as if her mental maturity was beyond her physical maturity, as she looked small and young, and even sounded young. But the way she spoke was more elegant, as if it carried the weight of respect behind it one wouldn't expect to find in someone who hadn't grown up yet. The stranger flicked on the lights with a sharp claw. When the shadows receded, her guest looked a lot less intimidating all of a sudden, shorter and much lighter than even Celica herself. Only his overlarge head and the thin black sticks he had for legs could be seen outside of his cloak, and though his eyes still shone with scarlet fire, their blaze was much less harsh. This was no specter--it was just a bug. A big bug, but still. "The previous newcomer. Grimm, master of the Grimm Troupe. A humble performer, pleased to make your acquaintance."[ Grimm bowed very low, then straightened up. "This is the flying fortress of the Lost Numbers, to whom you and your impressive contraption are honored guests. They call it the Avenger, and its purpose is the annihilation of Galeem, who burned our worlds to ash." He tilted his head, eyes narrowed in curiosity. "Perhaps they saw more in you than a victim in need of saving. Like me, a promising recruit in the war for reality's salvation." Celica sighed at that, and shook her head. "I have been saved more times than I can count, by all different kinds. It's rare that anyone, especially humans, do not expect something in return for their aid." Though she had seen other beings, humans, as she found all too typical, made up the majority of what she had seen thus far. She had to ask what she assumed... "Am I to be a soldier then, to fight against this, Galeem? I suppose it would not be new to me." Grimm's voice was raspy, sharp as a blade and uncomfortable inhuman, but when he spoke it was to offer reassurance. "You have a choice in the matter. As did we all. To dance to its tune. Or to break free of the cycle." He stepped out of the doorway, silent as the grave. "The mess hall is just that way. Why not say hello to your saviors, and make of them what you will? Celica was quiet for a moment, before she swung her legs over the side of the medical bed, and managed to stand without much issue. Taking a deep breath, she nodded, and started to walk out, toward the mess hall so she could judge these people for herself...
