[b]Silvia Alba[/b] grew up hearing those stories from just about everyone around her: the public, her schoolmates, their parents, the adults in suits that would sometimes stop by her home to talk to her parents. She remembered them the most clearly from her father in the years he had stayed. It was only to be expected. After all, Abigail Evans—[i]Abby, she would insist[/i]—was a woman with black hair and eyes that sometimes shimmered like galaxies had been locked within them. Sometimes, on off days, pinpricks of light would dot her arms until it looked as though she might scatter like misplaced stars. Sometimes she would smile, and it was a brilliant expression that could melt hearts. It was harder [i]not[/i] to know why the whispers never went away.

It was the culmination of those whispers spreading that brought Silvia to AGC Rising’s door, her interview simple and to the point. “What could she bring to them?” Silvia pushed an image of her mother across the table before she pulled her hood down, lowering her mask and shaking loose hair the color of midnight skies before setting a pair of eyes the color of faraway galaxies on the agency’s scout. In the moment of silence granted, Silvia murmured a secret that few could know about Andromeda and then flashed the brilliant smile she'd learned from her mother. A spitting image. A certainty. She could bring back a long-dead star as the light that reached Neo-Astraea long after it burst. Leverage (exploitation, perhaps), she knew, but Silvia learned young how desperately a Hero needed to grasp resources with so many trying to rise to the top. Finding ways to use them was just another step in the procedure.

Nonetheless, the young woman is diligent in her work—perhaps to be expected with the way that she is marketed. Silvia applies herself to her endeavors, sometimes a little too earnestly. How she found the time or dedication to graduate summa cum laude in computer science while juggling pre-debut training and promotion and still maintaining her craft-leaning hobbies is a mystery often pondered upon by AGC’s staff. It doesn’t make her many friends, considering how reluctant she seems to be to socialize with the people around her.

Such are the words that are often used to describe AGC Rising as an agency. The agency is the humble origin of more than a handful of successful Heroes and Villains. and their focus on cultivating the abilities of their talents is a hidden gem among the sea of competitors. Plenty of their talents blossomed into powerful Heroes under their watch, and even their less successful endeavors often have a cult following. The problem is that most Heroes tend to see AGC as a stepping stone—a reputation that’s hard to shake when they just can’t seem to keep hold of their successes. While their name isn’t entirely unknown, it’s also true that their early focus on ability development tends to be a turnoff for those who want to hit stardom as soon as possible. Perhaps their fixation on more traditional acts of heroism is a bit of a shackle, though they have a shocking number of ins and connections with other agencies and Heroes thanks to their track record.
