Penny felt slightly disappointed over Christian's denial, but she couldn't bring herself to show it or complain about it. Not when he was smiling at her so tenderly as he tucked her hair behind her ear. Penny studied his face, wondering what he was thinking about, returning his smile with one of her own. "I understand," She responded. All of a sudden, he went rigid and pulled away before excusing himself from the room, leaving Penny slightly confused. She brought her hand up to the strand of hair that was put behind her ear and she let a goofy smile spread across her face. Was he bashful? Penny's stomach fluttered with butterflies as her mind replayed the action and her cheeks felt slightly warmer than usual. She cleared her throat and decided it was best to get ready for the day. Penny met up with Christian in the parking lot. He was leaning up against the car he was going to drive and Penny stopped to admire his tall figure for a second before making herself known and greeting him. "I think I'm ready," She called out. "Uh... just message me in my brain if you want to pull over- I guess. You don't have a cell phone, do you?" Penny wondered if she should get him one just for... emergencies.
