Cheese wasn’t one of those things that was high on Rhiannon’s priority list, like it was for some. People with Asian ancestry tended to shy away from cheese since there was a history of lactose intolerance among them. They broke up a piece of the softer cheese and added some jam, and gave it a taste before sticking to the nuts. The conversation around the table started to dwindle, which sparked a topic of conversation for Rhiannon. It was a shame they were so far away from the ghost hunter. It would be interesting to pick their brain on a few things. “So, what do you guys do for fun around here?” Rhi asked, turning to look at Nathan. “Personally, I’m only here in the summer. I tend to spend my time on the lake or sailing.” Nathan tells her. He has a note of pride as he says sailing. “The rest of the year I am in Paris.” “That sounds fun! I've never been personally, but the water has always seemed appealing to me,” Rhi noted, taking a sip of their wine. There was something about a good Riesling that always settled Rhiannon. Although she should be mindful about drinking too much… “Is there anything else for the guests to do? Or perhaps there is something you like to do for fun?” Rhiannon asked, addressing the person on the other side of them for the first time. Lena looked a little surprised at being addressed. “There is the library, garden, lake, vineyard are some people’s favorite pastime.” She shrugged. “There is also a pool house. If you like swimming, but don’t want to do that in the lake.” “Oh? Is there algae or something in the lake?” “It is cold, and full of fish.” Rhiannon laughed at Lena’s response. It was so straightforward that they couldn’t help it. ”Not nearly as cold as swimming in a lake fed by a glacier, I’m sure,” Rhiannon said with a grin.
