[b]Backstory:[/b] Mila was born and raised in NC only a year after her parents migrated from Russia. Her parents initially struggled to make ends meet, especially since they had to learn the language and find jobs only a few months after being released from the shelter, but they powered through and in a few months' time they had their apartment. Mila wasn't planned, but she was certainly welcomed. Growing up, the family wasn't a stranger to poverty, but that got better with time. By the time Mila started first grade, they had already moved to a much larger apartment her parents purchased and they had the money to properly raise a child without sacrificing things like extracurricular activities and such.

Later on in high school, Mila went on to take advance math classes. Her parents were proud of her, but they never pushed her to do anything she didn't want. However, Mila did take it upon herself to use her talents to her advantage and pursued a career in finance. She played a sport here or there but primarily focused on her schooling to achieve her academic goals and win a college scholarship.

Currently, Mila is a Branch Manager at the Bank of America branch in downtown. There has been talks of a promotion that would move her to New York, but that's up in the air. Mila has her own apartment and she's currently single.
