I'm gonna note that Digimon can talk from the moment they reach Baby II stage, so Black Guilmon (along with Loogamon) should be capable of holding conversations but are choosing not to, perhaps because of their immaturity.

I'm also assuming she was "born as a 'saint'" in the metaphorical sense of a saintly personality, which no longer applies (and is a bit misleading to ascribe to her modern self) given that her behavior isn't saintly any longer.
