Loogamon talks regularly, but his intellect is more on the level of a little kid and is prone to act on his own curiosity rather impulsively. Black Guilmon, meanwhile, can talk but prefers using fewer words than most to express himself. Dante was born lacking certain things in himself, while Beatrice has had an unusual sense of empathy and a kind predisposition since childhood. Their current personalities are a result of an incident in which they were both involved, but with them being different people, it affected them differently. Dante took it as a somewhat positive experience that encouraged him to change and become the person that he is now, while Beatrice took it as a negative experience, if not outright a traumatic one that made her personality take a sharp turn into what it is now, becoming cold and cruel, as well as holding a hatred for Dante.
