Ven knew what he said was a risk, but one he felt he had to make with Sarah. He would give Raziel a reassuring look but, he still had his helmet on. "Our plan is to stop the Velcon invasion and save Earth from the empire. Everyone in this room knows how strong the empire is, but despite it. We, as the new Power Rangers, are committed to defending Earth and stopping the invasion." Ven took a minute to pause as he put his hand to his chest, as it still hurt, and went to focus on Sarah. 

"Trust me, we know what we are in for, and the last Power Rangers were able to defeat a great evil that threatened this world. So I believe, as the Power Rangers, we can do the same, only against the Velcon Empire." Ven was putting his hand down from his chest and was tempted to take off his helmet, but still kept it on. 

Now speaking in a serious yet reassuring tone, "but about your brother. Here is what I propose since you helped us against the empire today, and could help us more. We still have access to the last Power Rangers' base and information. If you agree to help us against the empire, even if it is temporary aid. We can help you find your brother and maybe find out what happened to the last Power Rangers in the process. If the two are connected." 

Ven let out a long breath as he let Sarah think about this. "I know this is something you were not planning on, but I think that is the best course for both of us right now, mutual aid, and I will let you think about it." 

Ven then lay back against the wall as Vivrynn finished looking at his chest. Glad that he did not touch anything, and it was good that it was not infected. But, it's time to see how Sarsh feels about helping the rangers and hoping that his risk pays off.
