Allyn is a thin, tallish man, though the habitual slouch in his posture makes it hard to tell. His features are fair and his face is, like the rest of him, long and gaunt; curly brown hair, clean but unbrushed, hangs down to his chin. His eyes--the same chestnut color as his hair--are large and inquisitive, darting around with an energy that is at odds with the dark circles they are nested in.

His everyday outfit consists of a plain cotton t-shirt, covered by a ratty military surplus overcoat. Cheap blue-jeans with patched knees, a pair of old boots, and a canvas shoulder bag complete the ensemble. 

[b]Backstory:[/b]

Allyn had a relatively normal childhood that he did not care for at all. Having always been a curious sort, he found himself asking questions the adults around him never had satisfactory answers for. Though his parents were generally supportive, he quickly became disillusioned both with them and with the normal life everyone around him expected him to live--and as he fell into a rabbit hole of underground discussion boards and research, that disillusionment only deepened.

This all reached a head in college--in his sophomore year he dropped out, severed all ties with his previous life, and decided to travel the country seeking answers for the questions he thought no one else was asking. His Youtube channel/blog, "All In Investigations", has a small following among conspiracists and people with marginal political opinions, and mostly keeps him in instant ramen.

For the last six months, he has been trying to get to break the "big story" he suspects lies below the otherwise peaceful facade of Autumn Island. Unfortunately, it seems like he may get more than he bargained for...
