Ah, Willow the ever-annoying pest. If it had not been for her ill-timed comments on Evil Eye, perhaps Ember could have kept control of the body with the help of Sylvia, the only one of them who seemed to be at least somewhat sensible these days. Then again, the schemer understood why events unfolded like this. Indeed, as she ran through them in her head, the sequence seemed inevitable. So much that she knew she should have seen it coming. Now, however, she had to deal with something else: the fallout.

The more she thought about it, the more severe the potential repercussions became in her mind, their consequences too much to really predict. Her only solution? Talking to everyone get a sense of how they felt regardless of the light girl accepting her apology. Or their supposed leader boasting about being strong enough to kill the GEMS while bathing the area in pure terror. At least Sylvia was there for that, the protector eagerly standing in front of the impulse to flee.

Ember still felt the shiver travel through Shuuko’s body, her heart squeezing in her chest. Air fled from her for a moment as fingers soaked in ice wrapped their fingers around her body, their touch lingering not on her skin, but on the core of her being.

Or bashing Shuuko’s body in the face. That would not even be that big of a surprise at this point.

[color=red]”I should have paid more attention. I will not let it happen again.”[/color] A note of steel entered her voice as she spoke, turning her head towards Hizuki before nodding at her.
