Dante was born into a bloodline of Wardens. His parents, Elena and Marcus Virelli, were revered Wardens deeply committed to the cause. They raised Dante with love but never did shy away from teaching him the truth, knowing the life they led was a dangerous one. At the age of eight, Dante’s life was shattered. During a covert mission, his parents were ambushed by an Elder Vampire and its thralls. Few details were shared–The Wardens called it a massacre, while whispers in the ranks spoke of betrayal from within. Dante never learned the truth. Dante never got a body to bury. Just two broken blades and his mother’s bloodstained Warden insignia.

Alone and angry, Dante was nearly lost to the streets before Commander Dane found him. The Wardens then took the orphaned boy in, not with gentleness, but with purpose. Dante was raised within the hidden stronghold of The Bastion, trained from the ground up. He was never given special treatment because of the Virelli name, if anything that made his mentors more brutal. His trails were worse. He endured, not to hold on to glory, but to find answers. Dante showed prodigy levels of talent in both combat and engineering.

Now 20 years old, Dante is a fresh Field-Warden with minimal missions under his belt. Dante suspects the monsters he fights aren't the only ones who betrayed his family. He moves through the world with twin obsidian-blood rune daggers, and a cold resolve that masks the pain of what he lost.

He keeps twin bloodrune daggers sheathed to his side, at all times in case he finds himself in close-range situations. The daggers are enchanted to extend three inches outwards when thrust forward, while not a lot, it still gives a misconception of its true range.
