Conner rolled his eyes. Having arrived through Morgenröte's Northeast Gate three days ago, it was only natural that Zoe, his most curious of spirit companions, would want to partake in the various museums and art galleries the district had to offer. The young man was going to decline but then she had the sparkles in her eyes and it was their first time being in Morgenröte and who when they'll ever have time for this again and... Well... It was hard to say no.

Not that he'll ever admit that to Welk.

[color=00aeef][i]It was just a few museums, Welk. You want me to deny her that?[/i][/color], Conner responded telepathically, shaking his head with a smile as he continued to read his book. Currently, he was sitting in a trolley that headed toward the heart of the republic, where the fabled Eon Tower awaited. Welk, a nature spirit, sat upon his shoulder. An odd sight if they were anywhere else.

[color=fdc68a][i]No, but you have to admit visiting two museums per day is a bit much, don't you think?[/i][/color], Welk responded. [color=fdc68a][i]I'm pretty sure Zoe wanted to visit ALL of them.[/i][/color]

And it was. But again, Conner would never say that out loud. Plus, it made Zoe happy, so it was fine.

Before Conner could responded, an automated voice rang out from an intercom.

[center][b]"DESTINATION ARRIVED. LOCATION: EON TOWER. PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP AS YOU DISEMBARK."[/b][/center]

[color=00aeef]"Here's our stop."[/color], Conner said out loud, closing his book and rising out of his seat as the trolley stopped and the passengers got off while new ones got on. Having gotten off, it didn't take long for the duo to find the tower, the chalk-white spire reaching and piercing through the clouds.

[color=00aeef]"Welk!"[/color], Conner reprimanded out loud, tone exasperated as he began walking toward the tower.

[color=fdc68a][i]What!? Come on, there's no need for it to be THAT tall! I'm not the only one who thinks that![/i][/color], Welk retorted, paws up to show that he was just sharing a personal observation. [color=fdc68a][i]Still, such a big deal this place is. Who do you think shows up around here?[/i][/color]

Upon reaching the steps, Conner noticed that he had arrived early so he elected to go to a nearby bench and resume reading. Welk will let him know when the doors begin to open.
